In a recent interview, Anastacia revealed that she was encouraged to lie about her age. Shady record industry!!! Well, it's not surprising, happens more than we think, right?The hardest thing I've done is... get into this business. I signed to a record label at the age of 30, and they suggested I say I was 24 and I went with it. I spent ten years lying about my age. I'm not with them now. Source
