Jessica Simpson: I'm country, not popFormer reality show star (and former Nick Lachey wife) Jessica Simpson , 27, tells The Tennessean that she plans to spend the rest of her career as a country singer.
"I don't want to go back to that other world," says Ms. Simpson, referring to pop music.
Ms. Simpson says she lost all her confidence to go onstage after the breakup of her marriage.
"I was going through a heartbreak, and I was scattered," she reveals. But her confidence and her sass are all back, says Ms. Simpson, who is promoting a new single, "Come on Over." [Dallas News]
