Breaking! Sharon Stone Wanted For New "Police Academy" Movie!

These were snapped over the weekend as Sharon Stone hit up a beauty salon in Hollywood.

Yes, Police Academy! Remember that series? Here's the full scoop from WENN:

Actresses Kim Cattrall and Sharon Stone are poised to return to the police force for a new Police Academy film.

Sex and the City star Cattrall appeared alongside Steve Guttenberg in the original 1984 comedy, while Stone featured in Police Academy 4: Citizens on Patrol in 1987.

And Guttenberg is hoping to bring both stars back for another movie in the film's franchise - more than a decade after the seventh installment, 1994's Police Academy: Mission to Moscow, was released.

He says: "We are doing a new movie and it is going to be great fun. A script is being written and so far it is really great, everyone from the original movies who is still around will return.

"I know Kim and Sharon have been asked but they haven't said yes yet. It would be really great to have them onboard."

If you can't wait for that release, Sharon Stone also has a couple other movies in store. First is comedy titled Five Dollars a Day, which premiered back in September at the 2008 Toronto Film Festival. It's about a boy who is forced to take a cross-country trip with his morally challenged father. Another is an action-drama Streets of Blood in which Sharon stars alongside Val Kilmer & 50 Cent. The movie explores a relationship between two police officers who are dealing with the lawlessness of New Orleans in the post-Katrina environment and is slated for a '09 release.
