Can you please tell me why you are supporting Obama? Maybe you can give me at least one reason, because someone else on this site told me he was voting for Obama, because he's not Bush. I'm really looking for a deeper explaination of why someone would vote for him.

If you do chose to go that route and I have a feeling we have gone there before...You will never change your opinion.
It's not bad enough that the man can't multi-task, but now Palin is interupting him at rallies and taking his questions. Sorry, but that seems a little soon for something like that to start happening. This woman has been to the UN now and thinks she's all edumucated and junk and now she's interrupting a person that might be President. I have a feeling that won't change once in the White house....And I can tell you....I don't want that woman anywhere near my foreign affairs.
As for a McCain...Let's see Parrots George Bush...Is totally off on energy? Took a near depression for him to admit that the economy had problems and now he's all I can't do anything but that...I can't debate and cast a vote...His Tax plan is far better for the middle class.....I could go on....But let's get back to make of fun celebs.

Like where are people on this Venezuela / Russia thing? Everyone is so focused on the economy that this is in the back the newspapers. In 6 months this may be the Cuban Missle Crisis revisited.

If the American Economy collapses, the whole Venezuela/Russia thing really won't be an issue. Obama wants to have a debate on foreign policy as his country implodes! Doesn't sound like a man who is ready for the highest office in the world. It's very typical of him to want to talk about something and not really solve any real issues. McCain is putting his country first even though he'll destroy Obama in a debate about foreign policy.

Because people that go through the trouble and become actually members of the site have less rights than people wandering past. Plus it is uncertified bastards that have trolled to the point regulars don't want to come back.
As far as Obama.....They are going to get a package through...In fact they just announced that they have hammered a deal out.
Foreign policy is the #1 issue. Well aside from the US economy. Have you seen the state of the world today? And this isn't just a financial crisis for America. This is a world thing...Especially since Russia thinks that our money troubles are a conspiracy to send them back to the Cold War days economically. I'm not making that up. That is what they are doing. The Cold War propaganda machine has started again....Whether Russia likes it or not we are both acting like Cold War enemies right now.
And what of Afghanistan and Iraq? Trillions of dollars being poured in to a war we can't afford?
Foreign policy is tied in pretty close to what is going on Wall Street. This whole recession that everyone has been denying for the past 3 years...That's because we are over extended abroad both militarily and financially.
So yeah....foreign policy is pretty important.

America's failing economy is bringing the whole world economy down with it. The housing crisis is crashing, along with some other factors, the economy.

Aside from the housing market...Why is it failing? You must analyze that first. When an economy that is dependent on oil like ours has the oil goes from $14 dollars a barrel to over $100 a barrel there is going to be lots of problems. Not only do you have to pay for gas, but so does everyone else. That includes the trucks that deliver food...The light that keeps the chicken coop at night is lite by a plant runs on coal but need trucks to get the coal from the coal yard to the coal burning plant.
So by 2007 everything is 3 or 4 times what it was in 2000 and let me guess....No one's wages are 3 or 4 times what they were in 2000....so people start failing on their mortgages and the these collateralized loans start failing and than the bank that collateralized the loans used the mortgages to leverage another loan and bond deal and AIG insured the bond if they failed......So you fuck the middle class by starting a war that raises everything and spending of trillions and the middle class lose there homes and banks don't have collateral to cover the lost mortgages and AIG doesn't have the money to insure the failed collateralized bonds and the whole thing plummets to the ground.
So yeah...Foreign policy has basically shaped this entire crisis...

The president has to be able to take on several issues and be able to do them all. Especially when they are all intertwined.
