I suppose it's true, but having spent 2 months there in my life and meeting Dutch people from outside of Amsterdam, I'm sticking to my story. They're generally speaking, very cool and open-minded people. And they speak English well.

I don't believe spending two months in a given area would give you a true representation of the people there. I do not believe the US is a racist country as a whole, but it does have racist people in it. They are just not very open about it.
