Fashion Designers Honor Their Own
WHILE smoking a cigarette outside the New York Public Library on Monday night, at the end of a press line where a modest number of celebrities and large contingent of the American fashion industry were dutifully talking about dresses, Fran Lebowitz, the satirist, was asked what she was wearing.
That was pretty obvious, suggested Ms. Lebowitz, who had been asked to emcee the annual awards night for the Council of Fashion Designers of America. A cream-bordering-on-ivory dinner jacket. White shirt. Black pants. Duh.
"Do you mean who made this?" she asked. Her outfit was by Anderson & Sheppard, a bespoke shop on Savile Row. Did she know how to spell that? [NY Times]

She needs to wear shoes that don't highlight her corns/bunions or whatever those things are. Looks like someone stuffed some golf balls inside her feet. Naomi appears to have the same issue in one of the photoes. Perhaps these gals can get a 2-for-1 special at the podiatrist's office.
