The problem with cotton thongs is that they really pick up the shit off your anus and hang on to it. If you're wearing a thong, you HAVE to carry baby wipes -- wipe with dry toilet paper and your shit covered asshole will cover your cotton thong with bits of shit and even though it's a small bit of shit man it stinks like hell.
Nylon thongs pick up the smell a bit less but again you want to carry baby wipes.
In the end thongs are disgusting because every time you fart the fart and feces particles go DIRECTLY onto the thong with no room to expand and be spread out over air.
