"Well, I don't know exactly what it means but being 42 and having just had a baby, I think I'll take it," Berry wrote.
"Sexy is not about wearing sexy clothes or shaking your booty until you damn near get hip dysplasia; it's about knowing that sexiness is a state of mind -- a comfortable state of being," she said.

You know what I hate? I hate it when a black woman is posted on a site and everybody starts mentioning her race and comparing her to other black women saying "there are better looking black girls out there like ______"
They make it seem like its so rare for there to be a beautiful black woman and start comparing her to a small list of other attractive black women. First of all, what does race have to do with it? How about she is just HUMAN and beautiful? If you REALLY want to compare her to other women, how about you compare her to women of all races?
I mean, when a white woman is posted, no one brings her race into it and says "there are better looking white girls out there"...
I don't really know how to explain it.... But by the way people talk, they make it seem like its rare for there to be an attractive black woman, so when an attractive one is finally posted, they must compare her to the few other black women they also find attractive.

Halle is hot. She is 42 years old and just had a baby. She looks amazing. Not for 42 or a new mom. She just looks amazing. Yes, there are LOTS of other hot women out there but it takes nothing away from Halle's hotness. These lists have to do with the level of fame. Halle, Charlize, Scarlett and MiserAlba swap the #1 spot on these irrelevant lists each year. They aren't the most beautiful women on earth, in Hollywood or anywhere for me. Halle, Jessica Biel, Charlize and Scarlett are beautiful women, inside and out so when they get their nods, I'm happy for them. I'm not going to go think of others who I think are more deserving. Beauty is very subjective. This is ESQUIRE'S definition of beauty. For the most part, I think they do a good job. I've seen their list of "women we love" and they certainly do a better job than Maxim. I have nothing against models but because people seldom get to know them these days, it's tough for them to compete with A list celebrities. There are lots of women who look hot but their attitudes and personalities make them very unsexy. Yeah, Jessica White is physically attractive but I don't really know anything else about her and I don't really care to find out.

Halle Berry's a safe choice. She's like the Obama of hot chicks. Half white, Half Black, so there's something in it for everybody. She's Black enough to be considered Black, but not Black enough to scare White people or make them uncomfortable.
Plus, we have to pretend that 40 year old pregnant women are sexy or are somehow not any less hot than some smokin' hot 22 year old, who's never had a kid.
Now, don't get me wrong Halle's still in the top 1 percent of hot women on earth, but is she the singular sexiest woman alive today? Politically, yes, realistically, no.
