Though she tells the magazine she lost weight to boost her energy level and not because of nasty comments on the Internet, she posed on the cover with her head high, her smile triumphant, her "butt and boobs" shrink-wrapped in a form-fitting dress. The headline beside her might as well read, "See? I'm Skinny Again. Just Try and Call Me a Fattie Now."
"It doesn't convey any sort of consistent message," said David Katz, director of Yale Medical School's Prevention Research Center. "One of the reasons to say 'I love the skin I'm in' is because you really do. Another reason is simply being defensive -- 'I don't want to fess up but I'm going to say I'm happy and I'm going to lose 18 pounds in three weeks as soon as I can.' I'm going to guess hers was the second reason." ABC News

Why is she required to be a role model? She didn't sign a contract saying she'll act as a role model. Actress is her job title, not role model. Any time I see some actress or musician or whatever called a role model or someone says "what kind of MESSAGE does that send out?" about someone, I always think, "according to who? I doubt he/she agreed to the job of role rodel alongside whatever he/she's getting PAID for."
Sorry, it's a pet peeve of mine. Sentences like "What kind of message does that send" or "What about the children?" or "He/she has a responsibility as a role model" bug the HELL out of me.

she wears those big pants to disguise the fact that she is losing weight so quickly...so that people wont know how much weight she is losing because of the way all the feedback she received after those bikini pics stung her. I know a girl who does this, wears baggy clothes so that her parents cannot tell how much weight she is losing in such a short amount of time.

she said she loved her body and she was a size 2 and all women should stand up and be proud. Obviously, she hated her body and has lost 20 lbs.
