Jennifer Metcalfe (born in Bradford, West Yorkshire, England.) is an English actress and model She joined the cast of soap opera Hollyoaks in early 2006, playing feisty Mercedes McQueen.
In 2007, she was nominated for 'Sexiest Female' at both the British Soap Awards and the Inside Soap Awards.She has also had many a short interview with teen-girl magazine Mizz, as well as a small spread in loveit! magazine. Before she joined Hollyoaks she was doing a degree in health and fitness. She says she likes playing Mercedes because "she's a bit feisty, loves dressing up and flirting and a lot of girls see a bit of themselves in her". She has said people confuse her and fellow Bradfordian Kimberley Walsh (of Girls Aloud fame), often stating that Walsh has been seen acting in Hollyoaks. [Wiki]
