Jessica Alba Is Filming A Movie In New York!

These were snapped a couple days back as Jessica went out for a stroll with baby daughter Honor-Marie in NYC.The 5-time Razzie Award nominated actress is currently filming her newest project "An Invisible Sign of My Own" in New York. Along with "Sin City 2" in the works, we're pretty sure Jessica will be nominated for the Razzie's infamous Worst Actress award for a 6th & 7th time. Go Jessica!!
Here's a brief synopsis:
"An Invisible Sign of My Own" is a coming-of-age drama based on Aimee Bender's quirky novel about a 20-year-old loner named Mona Gray (Alba) who as a child turned to math for salvation after her father became ill. As an adult, Gray now teaches the subject and must help her students through their own crises. [Source]

The premise isn't bad, but Alba is such an awful actress, I'm sure her performance will be laughable.
I predict a respectable opening weekend in the $10 to $15 million range, followed by a steady decline. It will just barely recoup its budget, turning a profit of only a million or two.
With all this in mind, why even bother shooting it?

I think it's funny how she fights her sex symbol status so much, when it's the only reason she has a career. The chicks hot, and I'll pay to see a movie purely because she's hot.
She thinks it's holding her back from being a 'serious', 'respected' actress, when really she's none of those things because as hard as she tries, she's just not very talented. I think she should just come to terms with that, and enjoy the position she's in, instead of bitching and moaning all the time.
