i find it hilarious that he got nominated for 'best rap song' for 'lollipop', when in his time hes created much better songs, that are actually rap, and have good lyrics, unlike that silly club song nonsense. (which of course i still love, either way.) he is actually a great lyricist, and uses wit and humor.
and The Carter III sucks overall as an album, but people who say he has no talent obviously havent listened to his other stuff. it annoys me that people are so quick to judge an artist just cause they hear one single on the mtv

I know he has been around since cash money millionares back in what 99'? I just never liked the guy. I understand what your saying though, I just cant listen to it and appreciate his music. I'm more into Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Tupac, Biggie, Nas, Tribe called Quest, I could keep going but I won't. I tend to like rappers that are more poetic I guess.
