Wilde married Tao Ruspoli, a filmmaker and photographer, in Washington, Rappahannock County, Virginia, on June 7, 2003.
Wilde has dual citizenship between the United States and Ireland.[1] Wilde is a natural blonde and has stated that people have been "shocked" that she is a blonde but that "I wasn't stupid".
Wilde is an avid supporter of Barack Obama, having campaigned for him during early primaries with House co-star Kal Penn.

It's the Irish eyes and the Mona Lisa smile. She's really striking. I was wondering about her hair color (the blurb says she's a natural blonde). I am getting mine colored tomorrow and just like everything else in my life, can't decide what to do. Olivia makes me want to go even darker and Amber Heard a makes me want to be a blonde again.
