Hi everyone,
I am feeling extremely down right now and even shed a few tears because I am pretty sure I will die alone. No guy EVER approaches me. I was fed this, "they are too intimated by you" excuse whenever I complained about this but I really don't buy it and believe it to be something women tell themselves and each other as a way of flattering themselves. I'm friendly, smiley and goofy overall but nothing happens. EVER. I don't get approached. EVER. I even tried to take the first step and began to do more than I thought I would ever do to let a guy know that I'm interested but nothing!!! Recently, there was this guy in my class who had not even gotten my attention in the beginning...and given that I pretty much gave up that I have any chance with men, I don't look for signs or hints that a guy might drop for me to let me know he's interested. However, once this particular guy started looking at me just a little much during lectures, i knew it was more than just a coincidence of eyes meeting. i began to observe his behavior. We began smiling at each other in class during class discussions. No move from him AT ALL besides those pathetic cues. So the other day I saw him studying. He was walking behind me and got in front of me so I saw it was him...I saw the book he was studying and used that as an excuse to talk to him. I said, "hi, you are in my class, right? I just wanted to know who you're taking this class with as I need to take it next semester, as well"...because he was studying even while walking, I did not want to look selfish and told him that if he had a test in a few minutes, i can shut up and he can answer me later. He did answer and seemed pretty shocked that I talked to him. I told him thanks and wished him good luck on this test. Still, the next day, in class, nothing! He just kept dropping his cues and tried making eye contact but i was very frustrated and stopped responding to his stupid hints anymore as I thought i did more than I had to do. What is going on? I don't get it. I really don't get it...am I missing something? I feel like i must be a freak and feel disgusted with myself...am i supposed to see this pattern with guys from a different perspective? I'm even including a few pix of me as I am just trying to get to the bottom of things and want to give you an idea about myself as much as I possibly can. (the guys, including this guy i've mentioned are all single by the way, and I'm 23)

Probably the reason that most of us have never met an actual Scientologist is because it's ridiculously expensive to become and stay one. They have to fork over a ton of cash to reach each "level" of their religion so that's why famous people are their main members. And the reason that most celebs (esp. children of celebs) have almost zero education is because why should they work hard in school like we do when all of their needs are taken care of? At the same time, they are taught to believe that science fiction is religion.
