I am surprised that you would attack Miranda. She is a pretty young woman, a straight A-student, star of one of the most popular shows on all of cable television (iCarly) and a decent singer. She is very considerate of her fans, as well. In a lot of ways, she is like you describe Selena. If you don't like her that is fine, but I would think of all the teen stars she would be one you wouldn't insult.
