Selma Blair Not Fit for 'Kath and Kim'?Selma Blair proves just what actors will do to get in character. “Some bad things are happening underneath my clothing,” she revealed. She also referred to a little wobble that she's been experiencing.
“My character's really in a state of arrested development,” added Blair. “She's in her clothes from the seventh grade, and she thinks that's hot.” The actress also said that it's absolutely fine for her to shape up (or down) for the role. She even has to feast on fistfuls of Tiny Teddies and nachos to boast of her pudgy waistline. Source

I'm not sure how it's going to work as an American show, it's original format is VERY Australian, and just that, not even everyone is Australia gets it. Although if you like the kind of humor that show has it is very funny.

That's a pretty extreme '80s look (circa Earth Girls are Easy). . . painful enough the first time around as a child, why reinflict? I just think she's annoying and big faced, like I did about Tori Spelling on 90210. And her acting seems to consist of acting like a retarded rag doll-who says brunettes can't be dumb? She is one of three brunettes I find annoyingly cutesie and really bad faced: Blair, Rachel Bilson, and Sophia Bush.
