As weired and prententious it seems for a model to say she models to "try and gain a profile that I can use to help under-privileged people" I actually believe her. She won a modelling contest at the age of sixeen she won a very popular Ausralian teen magazine's modelling competition, the same one that Miranda Kerr won. She could have picked to become a top model at such a young age but instead she decided to pu her career on hold and focus on getting good grades at school.
