In Latin America, she is regarded as the “Queen of Telenovelas” because her telenovelas were highly successful all around the world.
Thalia's appearance on the Cristina show, which was aired on Monday, July 28th on Univision was a big success. The record-breaking ratings of the show were so high that they managed to rank higher than English language shows on the main tv networks in the same time slot. Wiki

Thalia - Mexican Actress and Singer - Wife of Tommy Mottola (Mariah Carey's ex). She even does a song...."You know he never loved you" that seems a bit aimed at Mariah. Unfortunately she can't hold a candle to Mariah's voice, but she did give Tommy Mottola a baby last year. Something Mariah never did and Tommy never did.
If it is competition between him and Mutt Lange.....Mutt needs to bag one more for the tie.
She has sold 20 million records worldwide and is well known on Univision. I think she is amazingly pretty, but a bit a shallow artist. Her work, that I have heard, is typical latin american pop with nothing that goes against the grain. Although I could be complete wrong since I have not heard everything.

She is fine, but I have this fear in a couple years her face is going to drop. I've seen high res pictures of her face, neck and upper chest and all look like the sun damaged skin that look like it much older than she is.
