My criticisms made nothing to do with her curves, it has to do with her being untones, doey and flabby. In the past I thought she had a ridiculously good body, and she still had curves, she was just not out of shape, she wasn't pudgy and a fit fat, like she is now.
And let's not forget this isn't you normal woman who can get a bit out of shape and it's still fine, beucase she looks good in clothes still and doesn't have to be up to perfect standards. This is one of the highest paid models and few weeks before a lingerie show.
There's a big difference. You can have curves, infact a woman should have curves, but still have a tight body.

Candice has flaws as well. Such as her weird face profile (see page 11).

Also the time the photo was taken. If someone if breathing out when the photo was taken their ribcage would be depressed, and if someone is in it will be expanded.

I think the show was better than last year, but I did not like the make up in some models (Adriana, Emanuela, etc).
Izabel Goulart impressed me with the black and white outfit. Amazing body!
My favorites:

Adriana Lima disappointed the hell out of me at this year's show (2008). I'm actually considering giving her up altogether. I really thought this was the year for her to come back to former glory (as we used to see in her in 2005 and pre-2005), but I realize now that's never going to happen. Her face shape is different nowadays and she's starting to show her age. Her legs were too skimpy and that terrible bronzer made it all worse. She doesn't have the intensity and fierceness she used to have. She smiles too much and does too many gestures and end up looking cutesy instead of sexy. I actually thought she looked good at the pre-events so I don't know what the fuck happened. I had high expectations, they weren't met, the end.

That's not the Adriana I see today. Time for me to recognize and move on I guess. Young Adriana would have wiped out all competition, but she just isn't up to the task anymore. Blame VS. They had to go with "classy", which isn't making any of the models look better. The thing with the fur looked great on Adriana, but the purple and the black didn't. The makeup sucked as well.

Well, Adriana is still gorgeous ... I just would say that the make up, the hair style and the purple outfit really didn't help.
But don't forget that our lives are full of ups and downs. I DO believe she can come back to her former glory.
The fantasy bra was beautiful, but I didn't like those wings and the details in the skirt.
In general, I think the other models outfits were better than the angels outfits. Weird!

it's not her fault... i think she would have looked younger with long straight black hair. it would have been sexier and more exotic than the big waves they did on her, (they even parted her hair in a silly way). so it's basically not her fault.
her body looks great, except for her arms which are too toned. i'm normally for adri, than for ale, but face-wise, i think alessandra is strikingly pretty in this year's show. (although we all know adri is naturally prettier, without the makeup). again, if adri had hair like this here: http://www.casperchristophersen.com/oldrunway/oldrunway61.jpg she would have looked way better than anyone, because it would have balanced out her round face and make her face look longer.
i'm also disappointed with the lace skirt they made her wear together with the fantasy bra. they could have just settled with a nice cute low-waist cotton black plain panty (with a few glittery details to match the fantasy bra)or something. also, I can't really judge it right now because I really haven't seen the videos yet.
i think VS is intentionally making adriana look bad, and is again trying to put alessandra in the spotlight. bodywise, adriana can sweep her out, so they're getting adri the bad hair and makeup lol.

Pstroyer I gotta agree with you on some level.
Her face has changed shaped, more-so than most people's do as they progress through their 20's. Although I do think she's been just as hot as ever thing year looks wise (I haven't seen the fashion show photos this year yet)
I think the problem with Adriana Lima is somewhere along the line she started adding more and more over-the-top expressions and gestures, which often come off looking a bit crazy. I don't know if you agree with me on that.
I for some still think though Adriana has something special that sets her apart from all the other girl, something should can't put your finger on.
Anyway, seeing as though I seem to usually agree with you and what girls and hot and what girls aren't, be sure to share with us this next up and coming girl you deem Adriana Lima level of hotness. Some young model who is the level of hotness and can take the mantel.

By the pictures i saw, so far i can say that this fashion show is better than the 2007 show, although i should wait for the videos. Adriana once again is stunning and gorgeous, while i liked Doutzen, Miranda and ofcourse the return of Alessandra.
