His record in the Illinois legislature was orchestrated by the kingfish of the Illinois Senate, Emil Jones. Obama is a cardboard cutout. As editor of the Harvard Law Review he never published a single article. At the convention there were no speakers from his past giving the usual "character reference" speeches, because he has a shady past full of shady people.He has kicked many of them under the bus, but there are a lot left, but you don't hear about them because the press has a strictly hands off policy when it comes to Obama. If one tenth of the energy spent trying to dig up dirt on Palin was spent looking into Obama's empty record and sketchy associations, you wouldn't be so ready to hand him the keys to the Cadillac.

I am not voting for anybody. I always dreamt of the day a black man (or woman) would run for president and make it this far, but Obama is not the right candidate. Both sides are wrong. It's the policies that come from a combination of left and right wing influence that allows a country to run effectively. If you followed only one side that country wouldn't work; both sides have their good and bad policies.

Secondly. Politics needs to evolve out of it's childish infancy. Science and Technology is evolving at light-speed pace, yet ethics and morals are stuck where they are. It's a fundamental flaw of human's, we're too smart for out own good. If politician don't start pulling their head out of their asses and actually do what's right, we as a human race are going to wipe ourselves out. There are issues forming and technology being explored that have that potential and someone needs to standup and definitively say what doors can and can't be opened, all people need to say that.

I’m not an economist, but here’s how I see it….

The US government, which is essentially funded by the American taxpayer, is going to give financial intuitions low interest loans, because they are on the verge of collapsing. These financial intuitions are in trouble, because they hold too many bad loans that Americans can’t afford to pay back, so the US government is going to borrow $700 billion from I would assume China to loan to these institutions. So we are going to borrow money from China (our biggest economic competitor and give them a bigger stake in our country) to give to the financial intuitions who will then have the capitol to give Americans more loans that they can’t afford to pay back and I’m sure this will also increase our taxes in the end? Nobody is even sure this plan will help the economy or if we will ever see the money paid back and all of this needs to happen in the matter of a couple of days before the whole economy collapses. I’m sure it’s a little more complicated than that, but this doesn’t sound like a good plan to me.

And then Canadian banks will come in and scoop up your institutions for low prices. Long live the USA!
