You have no proof that she is racist. None at all. Just because she doesn't find black people attractive does not mean she is racist. Actually, it means she has her own personal preferences just like you do as well.

You know, everyone goes thru a phase when their hair/ clothes are not the best fashion moves. That's the great thing about fashion, weave can be taken out, hair color grows out, cut hair can grow back and long hair can be cut. @Janice - You're wrong. When someone says that that girl is "hot for a brunette" they are talking about their hair color. Which is something they can change. But when someone says that that girl is "hot for a black girl" they are talking about their skin color, which is something they CANNOT change. Both of these comments are obviously not the nicest things to be saying but saying someone is hot for a "black/white/asian/etc" girl is worse.
Therefore, such a comment makes them ignorant. It pisses me off so much how people go around and say "oh, she's pretty...for a black girl." What is that supposed to mean? That there aren't that many pretty black girls? That it's rare to find someone who's gorgeous AND black? If that's the only comment you have then I'd rather you just shut the fuck up.

I think Cassie is trying to stand out from a lot of hip hop, R&B female singers. She's a newcomer and very talented. I was shocked when I saw her bold new haircut. My first impression after I saw her pics wasn't good. I thought she must be falling in with the wrong crowd, or possibly doing drugs. She doesn't look as cute anymore and she even dresses differently.
A lot of guys are really upset that she looks somewhat tomboyish too. Maybe this is a phase and she will grow her hair out again. She has beautiful hair and I'm sure there are a lot of folks out there that's really envious of her long locks. She's still one of my favorites artists and I hope, while her career takes off, we'll see Cassie sporting a new sophisticated style.
