Riiight because Lacroix, Armani, Valentino and Emanuel Ungaro are SO not high fashion. To be a 'supermodel' you must have both a background in haute couture and have commercial success. Whether people like it or not Adriana satisfies both of these requirements. She has done high fashion, and fair enough now she is more commercial but she was high fashion, and now Doutzen does the lingerie thing so it is fair to put them into the same category where, in my opinion Doutzen is found to be lacking.

First, I never said Doutzen was a supermodel; I said she was a high fashion model. Second, Adriana may have walked the runway for big fashion names, but she has never been their "face". The only name major that comes up with Adriana is Victoria's Secret. VS realized that Doutzen was a high demand model and they picked her up (even though she's not a lingerie model imo). Adriana, while extremely hot, is not a name that comes up as first choice when major designers are looking for a girl to represent them. Doutzen has done major campaigns for Calvin Klein, Gucci, Valentino, Pronovias, Guerlain, etc. She has not only walked the runways of top designers, but she is in the same category as Gemma Ward or Jessica Stam. She is the "it" girl of the fashion world, while Adriana is the "it" girl of the lingerie world and internet perverts (that means all of us). Don't get me wrong, I think Adriana is sexy as hell, but honestly, she is not a high fashion model.

well no shes not high fashion anymore because shes making more money now doing commercial work but walking for any of the brands she did when she first started means she was originally high fashion. You can't walk for an haute couture house and not be classed as high fashion. When she was young she was like a waif and did look high fashion too, now shes sultry and sexy because shes grown up so the commercial work suits her more.

Adriana is very versatile, she is more on the commercial side but shes done High Fashion Eds and walked the runways for big designers. Who cares if she wasn't on VOGUE 20 times or is a face of a high end costly brand. I mean who wants to see the same model on Vogue over and over?

I think it just boils down to this...Kroes is more elegant and display's a more classic beauty, while Lima is sultry and exhibits more sex appeal. Well regardless, I shamefully admit that I would take out a second mortgage on my house just to pay for a night with either of these two broads.
