Bastardly Site Maintenance: Anyone Experiencing Issues?

Thank you for your patience with our server upgrade. We're still working through some remaining bugs, so if you see anything that's really f'd up, please comment with it below.
Since we want your browsing experience to be painless, help us tweak the site!
1. How's the speed as you browse from page to page?
2. How's the commenting speed?
3. Are you experiencing major lags any where?
4. Do you get any errors when doing something?
5. ANYTHING ELSE?
The RSS feed went down for me last night. Load time is about the same. Last Friday, I couldn't log in to comment.
For the most part, the site is running normally.

The speed from page to page is slow, but the comments seem faster.
Speaking of comments...Is there any chance of getting rid of the drop-down comment boxes? I'm not the only one who hates them.

From a reader's perspective, it saves a lot of time not having to read all the side conversations that go on.
We're looking into having a on/off switch for the dropping down of menus for members.

I also noticed on the "Recent Bastardliness" section, you have the comment and time, but not what post the comment is for.

When you click to display the replies, they should all open at once, not one at a time.
Also, TRACK TAB functionality has been all but erased because of the drop-down comment boxes.
Suggestion: When using the TRACK TAB have a small red "New" next to the comments that actually are new.

Ya, profile pic section is plagued by a huge bug that we're trying to find & kill. The developer we have right now is really good, so we hope to have this issue resolved before the weekend is over...

Over the last few days I occasionally get server error codes when I try to get to the main page from elsewhere on the internet. Normally when I try back an hour or so later this has resolved itself. I suspect my timing is just terrible while things are being moved and updated.

there are 2 issues for me: 1)i tried to visit the site several times yesterday but there was an error and didn't let me go to the home page. 2)half the time when i try to comment, i see that my comment was not posted, but completley deleted

1) We changed servers and at the moment we're tweaking our new server so things are more stable.
2) This is very common for non-members. A lot of comments get moderated for anonymous users. This doesn't happen with registered users.

How about making the guestbooks unavailable to Unregistered Bastards altogether? MySpace and Facebook don't allow non-friends to see the accounts. It shouldn't be too hard to do.

One problem that I've noticed is that when I click on the "Bastardly tab" to the left of the Lima's on the top, it leads me to the Barbara Herrera Afternoon links from a few days ago. And it logs me out. Just saying.
I also would like to be able to see whose guestbooks have been updated without going to my guestbook..and then taking the number off the end.
And thirdly, Glimmer puts loads of randomness on the forum, so I agree it should be killed.
And as this thread proves, the reply function makes reading the comments much harder. Hopefully the Bastardly geniuses can do their thing! Peace
