Weird. Most tall guys I know love petite women. Why wouldn't you love a girl you could pick up easily and whose nethers are comparable to the rest of her body? So is it safe to assume that you don't find Natalie Portman, Salma Hayek, Penelope Cruz, Scarlett Johansson, Audrey Tautou attractive?

I'm also 6'1 and I don't like short girls, anything below 5'6 is too short. Short women rarely have proportionate bodies, they usually get fucking fat after having a kid and I really like long legs so I'd rather date a tall woman. Natalie Portman is pretty but Salma Hayek is a joke, yes she has a beautiful face and great boobs but also the shortest, most stumpy legs ever, it's such a turn off to me. And Audrey T. isn't even remotely attractive. Most tall guys I know don't like very short women.

let me be more detailed. I'm a 6'1" athletic guy and prefer some athletic traits in my women (sexy tomboy look with curves) I think Salma Hayek looks really fucking short and Natalie Portman looks like a boy with her flat chest. Scarlett is a bit taller but not really my type because her body looks really untoned like she sits at a nail salon all day. Brains are important regardless of height and sense of humor is the most important but at the end of the day, when I'm walking next to her, I can't fuckin hear a short chick talking, forget about stealing a quick, lusty kiss. I love doing that with my woman.

I'm 5'7" and ive dated tall and short men. The tall men who only date really short girls have really small dicks and are afraid to seem too small with a taller woman or something. or maybe it's too short dicks. its usually about how insecure a guy is. a man who likes a chick almost as tall (within 4 inches or so) is confident and they usually tend to treat women nicer overall. My crazy dating experiences so far.

This is actually to Marissa and stevieOOO. I'm 5'3" and I weigh 102 lbs., 34b, 23 inch waist, 34 inch hips (if I had my way, I'd be 5'11", 120 lbs. with natural full C's), I have small bones and kind of narrow shoulders. So obviously, a tall, really fit guy is going to dwarf me. Still, the guys I've dated have almost all been 6'1" to 6'4" and I've never slept with a guy who had a small penis. They have been about 6 inches at the smallest, which I think of as pretty average, and the biggest (who is 6'4") is 9 inches and so thick that it was difficult for me to handle him. No thank you. And I do think that there are tall men who seek out petite women because they want to feel larger and more powerful. But men like that generally aren't going to want me because I have a strong, assertive personality (I probably have a Napoleon complex). So it either takes a man who is secure enough with himself to be able to handle me, or somebody who is fine with being more of a beta-male and wants to be around an extrovert. So to wrap up my long-winded statement...Not all men who like short women are trying to compensate for a small penis and/or a lack of confidence.
Also, I've never had a problem communicating with a much taller man. We can hear each other just fine. Saying that you can't even hear somebody who is that much shorter than you is silly, unless they're constantly whispering or you have a hearing problem. 6'2" or 6'3" is ideal for me and I've never had problems "stealing a quick, lusty" kiss from somebody who is that much taller than me, even in my bare feet. Actually, the only guy who ever complained about bending down to kiss me (and since I am either in heels or I go up on my tiptoes, it's not much of a strain on the neck) was 5'11", the shortest guy I ever dated. He also had the smallest penis and was the one who seemed to be the most insecure person. Go figure. Haha.

Haha you're precious, you really are. Well you don't know me. I'm not one of those squeaky short chicks, like a yapping chihuahua. That Blasian chick from the Real World a few years back is a classic example. I think her name was Melissa. I grew up around a bunch of Alpha-male types (cousins, grandfather, friends, etc.), so I had to know how to hold my own. When I talk about having a Napoleon complex, I mean that since I'm small and really feminine, people assume that I'm not capable of handling my shit and sometimes they assume that I'm going to be submissive. In those cases, I'm glad to show them that couldn't be farther from the truth. Or maybe you'd find an assertive woman annoying. To each his own. :-)

I am 6'4" and like women of all heights. I like women ranging from Kim Kardashian (and women even a bit shorter than her) to Oluchi Onweagbe (6'3").
It doesn't matter to me, all women are beautiful. However, If I HAD to choose between Tall or Short, I'd choose tall. Tall women are so statuesque and beautiful. They also carry weight better.
But that's just my opinion and preference. I can't speak for all men.

tall women aren't curvy, it's the shorter chicks who have all the curves - ie. jessica simpson, selma hiyek (don't know how to spell her name), jennifer lopez. i don't find tall women attractive at all, i wouldn't date a woman above 5'7. but the bad thing with these short curvy women is they have to exercise often otherwise the results are not pretty.
