Visit the official "Michael Jackson's This Is It" website!The movie hits theaters on October 28th, but to help set the world ablaze in insane amounts of buzz, the tickets are being sold a month in advance to the film documenting Michael Jackson's rehearsals of the concert series of the same name from April, 2009 until his unfortunate passing/murder in June.
The movie will only be shown for only a two week period, so taking into consideration the sheer number of fans who'll watch each & every engagement, we highly recommend staying up tonight to Fandango your tix at 12:01AM. Just in case you haven't seen it, here's the trailer:
And in separate news, Michael Jackson's former friend & confidante (ya right!), a money-grubbing, fame-whore who likes to call himself "America's Rabbi," Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, appeared on Dateline NBC last night to pimp his latest book "The Michael Jackson Tapes." For some f'd up reason Rabbi Boteach taped his convos with Michael back in the late 80s through early 90s with hopes that one day he'll make millions. That day is finally here.
When asked why he's cashing in on these tapes, the Rabbi looked straight into the cameras and coldly claimed that Michael would've loved for this to happen. I have to admit, 2009 is turning out to be a shitty year for Judaism. First Madoff and now this dude. What the fuck?

um, its common sense. if you have been paying attention to what bills have passed, all you have to do is add up the money they have spent through said bills and you have how much hes debted us in 8 months.
i posted a link in the forum before the election about this as i thought it was disgusting that bush had debted out country more than every other president combined.
but with all the bills that have been passed under obama, add up that money, and you get how much hes debted us already, and its at least twice what bush did in 8 years.
just take a step back and think about all the bills and such that have been passed since obama has been president.
add it up.

I don't care about Roman Polanski, he's irrelevant. I never paid attention to his case so I can't make any comments regarding it with my limited knowledge. However, paying off your accuser does not equate to being guilty.
Back in the early 80s, some guy jumped in front of my car LOOKING to get hit. There were no witnesses around to back up my story, so he went on to lie in court and say he was just crossing the street regularly (when in fact he jumped out of no where with the intention of getting hit) and he said I hit him intentionally. Even though the severity of his injuries coincided with my story, it was still not enough to get me off the hook immediately. I ended up settling this with him out of court. I paid him and it was all better, because that's what he wanted in the first place. I would have most likely been proven innocent in the end, but I certainly did not have the time to waste on such a petty case and preferred to end it as soon as possible. Also, I did not want to risk losing the case, even if the chances were very slim. If you've got the money to settle outside of court, I don't see the problem. I know many people who have done this for much smaller and less significant cases. It happens all the time among normal people. Its a time saver and a sure way to keep a clean record.
From experience, I can tell you that settling outside of court does NOT equate to being guilty. Unless you present me with proof that Michael Jackson is a child molester, I will not believe it. Don't expect people to take you seriously unless you have factual data to back up your claims.

You are Phil of Shit. The only thing that civil lawsuit settlement proves is MJ was conned and it was a MONEY MAKING SCAM. What parent would skip a criminal trial with hopes of getting rich? In most CRIMINAL cases, a Civil lawsuit is used as a LAST resort for justice, not a first. This is evident in the O.J. Simpson case. Real victims act like the Goldman family, not like the Chandlers. How many parents would SKIP the chance of putting the molester of their child in jail when the statue of limitations have NOT expired? NONE! No parent would be focusing on money in the middle of a criminal investigation involving their child. That is ridiculous. Those parents would be working so hard with the District Attorney to make sure justice prevails, not money prevailing.
