Katy Perry is trying to sue a fashion designer born Katie Perry in a cease and desist for trademark infringement? Is this an attempt to keep her 15 minutes relevant? I mean, the chick was born Katie Jane Perry and her fashionline is named Katie Perry. How the hell can you sue on that basis? For the record, Katy Perry is her stage name, she was born Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson.Katie Perry said, "I got such a huge shock. It really felt like I was being intimidated and bullied into signing everything away," Katie Perry told the newspaper. "It asked me to give up the trademark, withdraw sales of my clothes, withdraw any advertising and any Web sites and sign that I will not in the future use a similar trademark to Katy Perry.
