i liked Oasis. bnot so much NOW, bt back in the day. i actually saw them on their 1st US tour at a small club called the stone Pony... it was great, noel had WAY to much power for a small club LOL, and liam started talking shit, i thought he was gonna get lynched.
like i said, it was their 1st US tour, so it was funny. show was awesome tho. i liketheir 1st 2 discs, but since then, the drama i feel affected the music.

I don't like The Beatles. Why? Because they pretty much ripped off everything the boys from Chess Records were doing and watered it down. The same can be said of The Rolling Stones, but they at least did it right. I've spent countless semesters listening to their stuff (The Beatles) and it's at best, bland.
Led Zep....they also ripped off the Chess Records boys...but they did it better than the first two bands I mentioned.
The Who...amazing band.
Oasis...they're alright.
Now, if you want my opinion on who's the most groundbreaking British act....Black Sabbath. You gotta give props to a band who started a whole genre.
Now...if you want to talk 77 punk, I'm up for that. Just be forewarned that my dissertation is on that. ^_^
