She made some retarded comment about the food in Bali and she was not sure to trust it (because you know rich people don't vacation in Bali all the time, and it only has tons of good food especially fish) so she said she filled up her suitcase with Powerbars and so on to be safe.

Just guessing, but I think that's more because Kristen's a vegetarian. Some places make it hard to find veg food, so it can be a good idea to have a backup supply. In a lot of foreign countries (I'm talking legit places with good food like Japan and Greece), if you ask for a vegetarian dish, even odds they will offer you pork, lamb, fish, etc. I love exotic shit, but I do the same as Kristen when I'm going someplace unfamiliar just in case I can't find a convenient veg-friendly restaurant on a given day.
