Megan is correct, because the plot of Transformers 2 is convoluted. I remember Megan from Hope & Faith, Two and a Half Men, and Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen opposite Lindsay Lohan.

It's true. I knew about her before Tranformers too. An ABC show called Hope and Faith with Kelly Rip. She was hot even back then. I think Micheal was just in pimp mode. He did bring herto the masses though. Bless him.

Haven't seen the movie but it probably sucks and no doubt they messed up the original story. Hollywood almost always changes too much of original story. Story is changed I guess to make it broader and maybe make sense in "real world"
Too bad movies aren't the "real world" and the changes make little sense either.

Ok, we just accomplished that she is an ungrateful bitch. She knows damn well that she tried so hard to be in that movie back in the day, and because of it, she is big and well-known today. One scene in that movie made her an instant star. The movie might be horrible and some of you might have seen her face here and there before (and I'd bet you didn't even know her name back then) but the reason why she is known today (even internationally) and the reason why we see her name everywhere today is because of the shitty movie that she is looking down on. She already thinks she is too good for it but the fact that she has no talent still remains the same. She can't even act so she needs to be grateful for every opportunity she has gotten, and transformers was the biggest one.
I suppose she is trying to send out the message that she is ready to take on serious, respectable, oscar-worthy roles and that she is fully aware of what a good script/movie is all about but you don't talk shit about your own movie like that. Why would any director hire her after this? so she can get her check, publicity only turn around to badmouth the movie? I'm pretty sure they will have her sign contracts from now on to make sure she doesnt open her inflated lips to talk shit.
She should have said something along the lines of, "This movie is not what I'd like to be remembered by, and it sure doesn't display all I have to offer as an actress but it has definitely opened doors for me to prove myself to my full potential, and for that, I'm grateful."

For once I agree with you: Megan is biting the hand that fed her. If she feels so strongly about the movie, she can always send back that huge paycheck she got. This is as bad as Katherine Heigl staring in Knocked Up and then calling it sexist. The difference between Fox and Heigl is that the former is better looking so it's easier to overlook her hypocrisy. If Megan wants to do the movie for an easy payday that's fine; there are plenty of actors who do that, and then they do the serious movies. The difference is that we don't see them bad mouthing their own movies, or maybe they're just smart enough to keep their mouth shut in order to gain more royalties from theatre and DVD sales.

She's not ungrateful, just truthful. She didn't say she regretted being in the movies, just that they are good for what they are, which is big, dumb action movies. That's all.
It's refreshing to me that she doesn't think that she's Meryl Streep or somebody and talking about the "Strassberg method" and shit.
She knows she's the eye-candy in bad movies, she accepts that, and doesn't pretend to be anything more.
