The flab becomes a gut as the woman slowly gains weight or if she stays in shape, i think she has to have it cut via plastic surgery. That's what I think...a woman who has gone through pregnancy would be a better/credible source though.

I know a woman who's in her fourties, has had 2 children and has a firm, rock hard abdomen. How did she do it? There was no plastic surgery involved, she just made sure that while pregnant she didn't gain more than the necessary amount of weight and after giving birth she exercised and dieted until her weight was back to normal. She also took extra care with her skin. Of course, she no longer has the waist she had in her twenties but I'd have to say having a 26.5'' waist in your fourties is a very good thing.

Holding down the weight gain during, exercise and diet control after. Pelvic bones often spread; can't do anything about that. Vitamin E pill innards and no scratching supposedly reduces stretch marks.
Easier said than done, of course.
