You'd think that coming 2nd place for the former S Club 7 member, Rachel Stevens, would land her a bunch of gigs? Well, most recently she's been in talks to get a role on the BBC's Merlin. For our BBC-watching Bastardly readers, is Merlin something worth bragging about getting a role in?

"Merlin" is big enough that NBC bought the rights to it for the US, so I guess it must be all right. The chick from "Bionic Woman" is a villain on it.

saying that a lot of people seem to like it as light entertainment fluff and she was in S Club 7 so she's hardly Oscar-winning material.

apart from some decent documentaries and QI, they've got nothing. i bitterly resent the £142.50 licence fee i'm forced to shell out for all the wank.
