Tuesday, May 26th, 2009 late in the morning while chugging coffee by Moe
These were snapped at the Mardan Palace launch party held in beautiful Antalya, TurkeyThe couple tied the knot back in 2002 & are surprisingly still together, so major props to them! Anyway, here's more info about:
Carey Lowell (born February 11, 1961) is an American actress and former model.
Lowell's notable acting roles include those of Bond girl Pam Bouvier in the James Bond movie Licence to Kill (1989) and Assistant District Attorney Jamie Ross on the television drama Law & Order, a character she reprised on its spinoff, Law & Order: Trial by Jury. [Source]

She is still looking good. Got to love me some bond girl.

Little known information, she is the direct heiress to a huge gerbil empire's fortune. . .
Bad joke, I know but can't let any Gere picture set without a gerbil reference.

That is such a stupid "urban legend", I still fail to see why it continues to be funny to anyone, even now 20-ish years after it first started circulating.

"Several years ago, "they" say, Richard Gere was admitted into the emergency room of a Los Angeles hospital with a foreign object lodged in his rectum. Some say Gere was alone when he arrived, others say he was accompanied by a friend (e.g., former love interest Cindy Crawford). In any case, an x-ray was taken and it was determined that the foreign object was a gerbil (either alive or dead, depending on who tells the story). Mr. Gere was rushed to surgery, where it took an entire team of doctors to extract the animal from his behind. Some variants say the gerbil was found to have been shaven and declawed; others claim the animal had been placed in a special plastic pouch. Still others insist the poor creature was Gere's own beloved pet (appropriately named "Tibet" in this variant). In any event, when the gerbilectomy was done the medical team was sworn to secrecy — unsuccessfully, we must conclude — and Gere went on his merry way, suffering no permanent harm other than to his reputation."
"Some commentators point out that shortly after Gere achieved national attention for his appearance in the film Pretty Woman, an anonymous hoaxer forged a fax alert purporting to originate from the ASPCA deriding the actor for what it called "gerbil abuse." The accusation was circulated from one end of Hollywood to the other, and beyond."
"In 2006, actor Sylvester Stallone publicly stated that he believes Richard Gere blames him personally for starting the rumor. Or was Stallone slyly trying to take credit for it?"
Lol!

Thanks for that. I was entertained. The Sly pun was so bad you have to laugh. It's like the iceing on the cake.

Stallone hated Gere from day one. He had Gere kicked out of The Lords of Flatbush and replaced with Perry King in 1975.
