Rihanna to Speak About Beating by Chris Brown on 'GMA' & Glamour

After nearly nine months of silent soul searching, Rihanna's using the tragedy that left her physically & emotionally battered to help pimp her album-in-progress that's set to drop sometime next year.
The album, tentatively titled "Rated R," has a whole host of big-dogg producers including The-Dream, Tricky Stewart, Chase & Status, Stargate, Slash, Justin Timberlake, Ne-Yo and Akon, so I'm sure it'll sell millions of copies once it hits the airwaves. In an upcoming interview Rihanna states that she has put everything she wanted to say for the past eight months into her music, so it'll be very interesting to hear her take.
Anyway, let's get back to the real juice. Rihanna will speak out about the incident between herself and Chris Brown on ABC's "Good Morning America" with Diane Sawyer for the very first time tomorrow morning, so make sure you guys tune in.
If that wasn't enough, Rihanna's hitting print media, as well. In December's issue of "Glamour," Rihanna takes the high road---a path less traveled by Chris Brown---and talks from the point of view of a victim who's doing her best become a better role model for her fans. Here's an excerpt:
"My story was broadcast all over the world for people to see, and they have followed every step of my recovery. The positive thing that has come out of my situation is that people can learn from that. I want to give as much insight as I can to young women, because I feel like I represent a voice that really isn't heard. Now I can help speak for those women. I've put everything I wanted to say for the past eight months into my music. My new album is super fearless, which is exactly how I feel right now. I am in a really good place." [Newsday]

Well sure, she is a victim of violence and what he did was terrible but I don't know, where i'm from it's tacky to use your sad situations for monetary gain. I believe she should talk about it and condemn domestic violence but didn't she get back with him after it happened, weren't they at diddys house together? i mean make up your mind, you either want to be with the guy who beat you senseless or you want to crucify him in the media. I'm not blaming Rihanna, i think brown is a punk and he should have gone to jail and that the whole ting just proved once again that celebrities are trated so much differently to the average person.
