you think that being young and having some residual income from getting a GOLD MEDAL in the Olympics that she'd get a stylist or at least someone to pick her clothes & shoes out. she seriously looks like she raided the discount rack at Fashion Bug and then hit up Payless for some BOGO.
as for her body, she's a gymnast, she's gonna have a funky body. when she quits, she'll have a massive growth spurt and look amazing.

I thought gymnasts were supposed to be leaner? Like they are supposed to be strong, specially their core but not overall strong, so much volume makes them less agile or whatever

Good gymnasts usually do have a body type more or less like Shawn's. She's got muscles, but she's not so bulky that it ruins her agility. I think how short she is might kind of distort how big her muscles look.
