I know it wouldn't be the first time, of course i remember Tyra's iconic cover, but come on the covers are mainly white and blonde, albeit beautiful. Two black cover models in the past however many years kind of baffles me when there are so many bautiful models of other ethnicities. Maybe its just what sells i dunno but its crazy to me. Don't get me wrong, all the cover models have been beautiful, im not badmouthing them in any way.

The Swimsuit Issue cover has not featured an Asian model yet to my knowledge nor has a man even shared it (though one year had a surfer dude in the background). For a second I thought Dennis Rodman had appeared on a cover with Rebecca Romijn, but that was for GQ.

There's nothing wrong with Bar on the cover, but the correct answer is "None of the above." There are even hotter chicks inside the magazine. There should be a series of votes to get to the bottom of which 2009 SI model is hottest. That is even more important than the 2008 presidential election.

With all due respect, I doubt you've studied all the pics of the other models as much as I have.
I admit, looking at the Bar pics it's hard to imagine a more beautiful woman, but then you see one of the others and think the other woman is the hottest woman alive, until you see the next one, and so on.

Don't they all have their OWN contests, magazines, award shows, etc. that exclude any non-blacks? And the demands for 'reparations dating back to the 1600's? So what's the big deal if SI chooses hot white women all the time for covers and best layouts? It's not racist. Pretty much says it all to me. I prefer dark skinned, dark haired people to blonde and fair, thats why i'd like a bit of diversity. But while we're on the subject why shouldnt people of diffferent races grace the covers of magazines? why are different ethnicities under represented in the fashion industry? being a big fan of candice's, i said the exact same thing. candice and bar are two different kinds of models. bar models in bikinis and looks amazing doing so, but in lingerie shes not as amazing. candice looks amazing in lingerie but not as good in bikinis. also i did side by side comparison and bar is just so fine

there always seems to be a certain body part that's in fashion. It used to be boobs only in the 80's and flat small asses. Then the ASS made a big comeback with plastic tits and now it's natural boobs and round bubble butts with flat stomachs in between. This explains J. Alba, J. Biel, MM and now Bar Rafaeli being so in vogue. It's very rare to find this combo and that's why they are getting all the attention nowadays.
