I'm not being funny but Shameless is one of the best TV shows ever but Emmy Rossum is boring and shit. The idea of her playing Fiona is just plain insulting. I don't know how this will translate to be honest.

She is Frank's eldest daughter, was played by Anne Marie Duff (shameless is where her and James McAvoy met) she was in series 1 and 2, she kind of held the family together. She was a really good character.
Thing is, the American one won't be able to be anything like the English one because the English plays to British stereotypes quite a bit. I guess it will just be based on it or something.

Emmy NEVER has painted toenails. Why would a woman NOT paint her toenails??????? Her hair, eyebrows, eyes, and lips are done, but not her nails. That is the last thing a woman should skip.
