My BFF & I have been going to shows since our early, early teens and he told me that all the bands that his friends used to see in high school & college aren't around anymore...but all the bands he used to see are still going strong & playing shows.

That may be true about major record labels, but there are plenty of smaller indie labels that publish what I'd consider talented artists without compromising them. also, while im not gonna hate on EVERY loop track, IE Licsence to ill is basically just sampling of Led Zepplin, but, like Jay-Z rappinmg over forever young is unacceptable. when you are sampling OTHER PEOPLES MUSIC on EVERY TRACK, thats plain sick. the beasties at least STOPPED doing it, and oh wait thats right... LEARNED TO FUCKING PLAY INSTURMENTS so they could generally just do their own thing.
there is NO EXCUSE for someone like Jay-z who is SUPPOSED to be a fucking genius still sampling a good bit of his music.
also,. using machines to make your music, IE string programs or drum beat programs, you are killing the need and use of REAL PEOPLE. uim sorry, but if i was a rich musician, id MUCH RATHER have an ACTUAL orcestra come in and play than just use some shitty ass program that plays everything PERFECTLY.

both the guitarist and the drummer were credit with samples/sampler. and i have no idea(really on some of the songs on this cd. no clue...) what the samples could be or that you used samplers. but when the cd notes credit two namd members for samples. they used them some how. they differently didn't use the sampler as a 'quote' machine.
