Lil Wayne never ceases to amaze me: homeboy is releasing his new album on his birthday (September 27th), while in prison. Talk about a workaholic? Even in jail he isspittin' out the rhymes and banking the moola.
On a side note, you have to be pretty damn baller to be releasing an album via prison. Seriously, I mean he won’t be promoting/whoring out himself on the Today Show or MTV to sell records. I’m not trying to attack Kanye, but it seems like he just gave himself an extra month of promotional whoring to sell his new album which will now be hitting stores September 14th.
Case and Point: Lil Wayne equals Baller.

How much of a studio do you really need, if you are only laying down the vocals?
I bet he just rapped into a pretty simple few hundred dollar digital recording device, and then some one took that to a studio where they mixed it in with all the accompaning background vocals, beats and instruments.

I've had enough of Lil Wayne. He shows he still has talent on songs like "No Love," but for the most part, most of the song by him and Young Money are gay and a disgrace to the rap game.

maheen, are you up on shit? Wayne's one of my favorites and if you don't like him, you have to atleast admire his work ethic. but everyone knows he's recorded 100s of songs before going to jail and no one is allowed a recording studio in prison. he currently owes 1.6 million to the IRS and is being sued by two producers from the Carter 3 for unpaid royalties (Jim Jonsin (producer of Lollipop) and Bangladesh (producer of A Milli)) that doesn't sound very baller to me
