The woman by his side is Mel's new girlfriend/ex-mistress/Russian bootycall (lucky bastard!!). The couple have a three month old daughter together.

Edge of Darkness is an upcoming film adaptation of the 1985 BBC television series, Edge of Darkness. The film stars Mel Gibson and Ray Winstone, and is directed by Martin Campbell and produced by Michael Wearing, who also directed and produced the series respectively.
