And this whole age of conset argument, for me it doesn't work. I wouldn't have sex with a 17 year old if I were in England. And I sure as heck wouldn't have sex with a 14 year old in my country, just because that's the age of consent...

I think is more about having more or less the same age when they are under 18 but when the boy or girl are over 20, like 23, 25 or more I don't think it's right at all to have sex with someone under 18, actually the other day I met a very handsome guy, very tall, strong, blond, blue eyed, my type 100%, I thought he had 20-21, he has 17, FML, I felt dirty, doesn't care if he's mature and looks like a man, he's a kid, period.

There is a HUGE difference between being 14 and being 17. I got with my boyfriend when I was 17 (met him when I was 15) and he was 19 and we're still together now. I was mature enough for a relationship then and I certainly didn't consider myself to be a 'kid'. Young adult is more appropriate seeing as you are on the verge of adulthood at 17. I'm just saying it's not pervy for a 21 year old to like a 17 year old.
