Well....I think it is going to suck.
First off, the movie is produced by his parents, they are just pimping him on Hollywood. He isnt a bad looking kid, but he would never have gotten the lead for a movie without his parents buying his way in, IMO.
Secondly, it stars Jackie Chan, takes place in China, and he is taught Kung Fu, a chinese martial art. While the name of the movie will still be "The Karate Kid", with Karate being a Japanese martial art, and principle asian influence of all the "original" Karate Kid movies being Japanese.
Anyways I expect it to suck badly, but we shall have to wait till this summer to see how badly it blows at the box office.
..I should say though I dont expect it to suck as badly as the last one, the one that Hilary Swank was the star. Ohh man that was just terribad.
