Photo Credit: INF PhotoFollowing a quick family vacation in Miami Beach, Adriana Lima was back at work in Manhattan earlier this morning as she first hit a taping of "Good Day New York" at FOX Studios in Midtown and then attended a launch event at Victoria's Secret's NYC flagship store on 59th/Lex. VS introduced their new Showstopper collection which goes by the tagline: "Show nothing but your shape." Ladies & dudes shopping for your women, hit the Showstopper section of VS's website for more juice.

I honestly have no respect for anyone who would ever refer to Adriana as average. You can say she's not your type, she's overrated, too thin, etc. but average she is not. What is average about her? Her flawless skin? her green/blue cat eyes? her perfectly shaped pillow lips? her button nose? her 5'9" frame? Sexual attraction aside, if you saw her on the streets you WOULD stop and stare at her. She is riveting.

I don't think so, I probablt wouldn't even look twice. But that's just my opinion. Beauty is such a relative thing, where you see " Her flawless skin? her green/blue cat eyes?" I see a skin tone I don't really like and eyes that don't go with the rest, I think she would look better with dark eyes.

Well just to put it in perspective, I am above average relative to the general population (butt ugly compared to adriana) and I get called beautiful every day of my life. People stop me in streets and I'm constantly getting hollered at. I'm 5'6", 125 lbs, big nose, bad skin and dark eyes. That's average... adriana is NOT average. Imagine how much attention she gets?? Jesus Christ. Even if she wasn't a supermodel, she would leave people in awe. It doesn't matter if you don't particularly like her skin tone (perhaps bc of the yellow undertones) it IS flawless. That's not a matter of opinion. Do u see any blemishes? Age spots? Rosascea? She is virtually poreless. And in regards to her eyes, your statement alone proves that she is indeed atypical and thus not average. You subconsciously assume that bc of her dark hair and olive skin, she must have dark eyes. You've never seen anyone who looks like her therefore proving my point that she is NOT AVERAGE. Whether or not she is appealing to you on an individual level is inconsequential.

I've seen plenty of girls and guys who have dark skin and light eyes so I was not assuming that she must have had dark eyes. That was not what I said. What I said was that to me she would look more interesting with dark eyes. And I didn't say anything about her being average either, of course she's not. I was just trying to say that I don't find her all that beautiful, so I probably wouldn't be one of those people in awe. And I have a less than conventional taste in men/woman. But then again beauty is subjective. Which is a good thing.

In the beginning she was very friendly and laughing and chatting with the fans, but towards the end of the shoot the smile did fade and you could tell it was forced when she took the pictures...I'm assuming she was just tired. She was sweet to me though. I could tell she really loves her fans.
