As we mentioned a couple days back, co-star Blake Lively is currently filming scenes for the show in sunny L.A. while Leighton & other cast members are suffering through NYC's extreme heat & humidity. I guess that's one of the perks of having Leonardo Di Caprio as your boyfriend.
Anyway, as most of you bastards know, Leighton's currently stuck in a lawsuit with her money-grubbing mommy dearest who was swindling her daughter for thousands when she was supposed to use the money to help pay for Leighton's brother's medical issue. Her younger bro Alexander recently went through a brain surgery. For some F'd-up reason, her delusional mom feels that since she raised Leighton into an actress, she's entitled to some of the cash. Even though I don't know all the details, I kinda pity Leighton b/c no kid needs to through this bullshit.

Muggles are a fascinating sub-part of humanity. In the wizarding world looking nice is great yes, however, it is the skill you can bring to the Ministry of Magic that makes the difference. In that horrid class "Muggle History" the only "beauties" I can remember mentioned was Helen of Troy and Cleopatra...the rest of the "beauties" are never recorded in history. Vivien Leigh and Lynda Carter are exceptional Muggle beauties but today a great number of Muggles have no clue who they are. What the Lord is trying to get across, is it's not beauties who are remembered in history, it is the brilliant (like Newton, Flamel, Einstein), philanthropic, and powerful Muggles/Wizards (and those who died a mysterious death). The wizarding world seems to be more aware of this fact.
That said, I like the Muggle Meester.
