Hey now, I've been trying to make gif and most of them are shit. Making gif is not easy! And I remember someone said that Goliano is computer technician or programmer or something like that, he's good with computer. I have to say that this site is no longer as entertaining due to important members missing. No BLOTDs, no d55, no Roxy, no EvilSamurai, no ladylazarus, no Caite, even Pam comments very rarely.
I will admit that I do like reading catfights, not necessarily want to participate but reading, yes. And if someone doesn't, just put some users on ignore to avoid reading insults.

I think the "what is the point" is the problem most of the REAL female users have. Especially since there are no longer any Bastardly T-Shirts to be had. Ari/Tracy never got hers, she was told after the fact they didnt do that any more.
Meanwhile "The Chive" website seems to have no problem getting female users to send in real pictures of themselves. They have t-shirts.....

I think girls were more ok with doing BLotD when this site was more anonymous. There was no profiles, pictures, personal info.
Now doing BlotD IS kinda pointless. Lets say a girl sends in pics and those who are on good terms with her will feel obligated to say something nice even if she's a witch face monster. On the other hand, a really hot girl sends in pics and those who dislike her will say the worst thing about her looks only because they dislike her as a person. So kinda not fair, after all we judge Bastardly Lady's appearance more than personality.

leni,i don't think you have to be member of this site to do the blotd. remember back in the anonymous days the blotd would often say the read/was familiar with the site even if they had never commented.
i think the opening for that is still there.maybe no female is interested.and that's ok.
and a big reason for that may be that 'average' females were treated like sub humans because they didn't have a team of people to help them with photoshop/airbrushing or whatever like those darn models do. la la la la...
and there was sometimes and often *way* to much glee going on in the attacks against them usually done by guys that really weren't remotely 'hot'.but felt that if a female did blotd she was open to every cheap shot in the book.
i'd rather have blotds than lame v.s. models. but hey 'the guys' have won again...
