Full disclosure: I'm kinda bias about his performance last night b/c I've loved Ricky Gervais ever since I first watched the original UK version of "The Office" series nearly ten years ago.
In a town where money & power define who you are, Ricky Gervais is well positioned to exercise his sense of humor at the expense of Hollywood's most successful actors. Having already earned his "Fuck You Money," he doesn't need to worry about kissing ass or doing cute jokes, but instead he resorts to aiming straight for the balls, which, for the most part, resulted in great laughs, to say the least. Let's just say that it's not everyday you can tell almighty Bruce Willis that he's Ashton Kutcher's dad.

+1 for British people
Most critics were pissed off about Ricky Gervais's irreverent performance, but viewers loved him. I thought he did great. The part about Hugh Hefner was the best.
