2012's Hottest Red Carpet: The S.I. Swimsuit Issue Launch Party

First of all, we already posted cover girl Kate Upton, last year's cover-hottie Irina Shayk & future cover girl Izabel Goulart. UPDATE: Don't forget about our 2012 Rookie of the Year, Nina Agdal!!

It's a real pity that we'll have to suffer through the Oscars red carpet after being showered with all these scantily-clad S.I. Swimsuit models. The truth of the matter is that this will be one 2012's hottest red carpets---at least until maybe the Cannes Film Festival (mid-May) or the MTV Movie Awards (June 3). Then again, Oscars aren't exactly known for countless hot models walking down the red carpet, so realistically speaking, our expectations shouldn't be too high to begin with. As an edible metaphor, think of S.I. Swimsuit Edition's launch party red carpet as a selection of your favorite deep-fried, zero calorie appetizers & desserts before you're force-fed an extremely underwhelming main course (this weekend's Oscars).

With that in hand, let's dive into the appetizers & desserts! The tastiest ones for me were newbies Michelle Vawer, Kirby Griffin, & Adaora, as well as the cover girl Princess Kate Upton & all those old-school faves Irina Shayk, Izabel Goulart, Anne V, Jessica Gomes, Chrissy Teigen & Alyssa Miller---Hey no one said I had to choose just one, right? To tell you guys the truth, all the women are beautiful & I'm just being a greedy bastard lost inside some fantasy world where I actually have a chance with these chicks. Then again, aren't we all just a few million bucks, a private jet & a yacht away from living that fantasy life?!
