well, Steve... the only thing i can really say to the reasons why i speak fondly of Hiromi is that i'm speaking of the time we were together. it was a good time in my life. the girl looked up to me. she'd tell people that her boyfriend treats her "like a queen". saying that she was so lucky to have a boyfriend like me, etc. the girl treated me like no other. i can't help but say nice things.

Here's the whole thing in a nutshell. It's the white man's fault - all of this. You see, maybe 3000-4000 years ago the white man was building a society of thinkers, of men who came up with brilliant ideas and pondered the universe such as Aristotle and Plato. From then on, who came up with all the art, music, literature, architecture, and inventions? Almost all were white men living in higher civilizations (mostly in Europe); more advanced societies. Mozart, Picasso, Rembrandt, Michelangelo, Ford (made car), Einstein, JFK. What was the black man doing up until 200 years ago? Hunting wild boar in Africa with a spear wearing nothing but a loin cloth and walking a mile for water. The white man's society is and has been waaaaay more evolved then the black man's. This is no one's fault. It is history. That's just how the world turned out. White men are used to living in civilized cities with laws and higher thinking. But one fatal day, we were stupid enough to drag blacks over here to be slaves. I don't believe in slavery in any sense (however, it's been going on for thousands of years, you know - the blacks haven't cornered the market; just ask the Egyptians, Romans, Greeks, and Aztecs), but mixing tribal people among the whites and their more advanced society was wrong. Even on Star Trek, there's the prime directive of non-interference between cultures for exactly this reason - you'll screw up both cultures. Why are prisons filled with more blacks than any other race? Why are more blacks on welfare than any other race? It's not that they aren't smart or evolved or completely capable of living effectively in this society. Contrary to popular black beliefs, it's not because of racist white people either. Laws have taken care of that probability. We can get in big trouble for denying a black person a job or education. There are tons of decent black people who have adapted to our society. It's that most blacks haven't evolved enough socially to deal with what whites have been used to for thousands of years. Name one tribe of white people anywhere in the world right now. None. But how many black tribes still live in Africa? How much rap music sounds just like Dr. Seuss to an African drum beat? Even their dancing is similar to how tribes still dance around giant bon fires near Cape Town. Time will take care of this difference in our cultures. For me personally, if a black person treats me with respect, I treat him/her exactly the same. I don't think of them as black at all - just a person. Speaking of respect, I'm not talking about being below me - I'm talking about normal, average respect for my existence as a human being and member of this society. But if he/she doesn't respect me or others, I consider that person useless to our society and sincerely believe he/she should be sent back to Africa with our sincerest apologies for dragging your ancestors here in the first place. The only resolution for this problem in our society is time - for blacks to catch up with our more advanced state of mind regarding a civilized society. It will happen in about 100 or more years.
