Weed has far less tar then cigarettes. And even if it is mentally addictive, anyone who would get hooked on it is a weak minded person to begin with and would probably go to stronger drugs anyway. Weed isn't even a drug, it's an herb. I've had many discussions with college professor's and psychologist on this subject and they all agree that weed is much safer then alcohol and cigarettes.
