I'm an Aruban citizen and I hope and I pray to God for Natalee's safe return. We as Aruban teach our childrens to "not accept anything from strangers" and "do not get in cars with strangers or peoples you do not know". I don't know why she would get in a car with persons she doesn't know. I would not do such a thing. I do accept we do have as other countries have drug problems and prostitution, but the American Media makes Aruba look like a land of drug and prostitution which is not true. Aruba consist of a small community of approx. 100.000 people.

Rose-Those three men were not black men. One name was Joran Van Der, who is the son of a juge dutch ministry. The other two were surinamrese and they looked white to me. I agree. This is a very unfortunate thing. This girl had a very bright future, but was apparently lacking in good judgement. She was drunk, which was her first mistake, and then took off with people she did not know. Ok, call me an old fuddy duddy, but I've just never thought that getting drunk was a good time. First; there have been no credible reports of anyone seeing Natalee Holloway. It's not being reported by any major news agency, cause it hasn't happened.
Sightings like that are like an Elvis sighting.
Any reports like that would be thoroughly checked out. So far no major news agency has found any credible witnesses and they are looking I can assure you!
Second: The problem that most people are having is not with Aruba itself, the island or the people, it is the shoddy police work, interviewing and releasing the three men last seen with her, not checking the men's car for signs of foul play etc.. and releasing them, giving them time to clean up any evidence. Arresting two men who are now likely innocent, while the 3 wealthy connected ones who were with her last are released after authorities actually said they had looked at their background and social position. Social position? (meaning they are wealthy and well connected!)
Then rearresting them days later.
Then telling the press they had a confession and were looking for a body... then denying it. Both the police and the Minister of Justice issued statements saying they had a confession etc..
Then they both denied it. What is going on here? A cover-up?
Lastly: for those saying she was drunk and should have had more sense than to get into a car with three men she did not know well... STOP BLAMING THE VICTIM here! Is there anyone who can say they never made a bad decision, something that if God or luck wasnt with you could have turned out badly? Deadly?
Sure her decision to go for a ride to the lighthouse, (we don't even know if they told her that was where they were going, they could have said they were giving her a ride to her hotel) was faulty, yes drinking could have been a factor. A lot of girl's (and men) make very poor decisions when drunk. She was barely 18, and her drinking experiences were likely not enough to give her good judgement at how much she could even safely drink and still have control.
A lot of things failed that night that could have saved this poor young girl.
One, the chaperones could have watched those kids better. Legally they could not even drink in the U.S.
Her friends could have looked out for her better.

The 3 men who she was in the care of, that night, could have made sure she was safe. Could have gotten her safely back into her hotel, and she would be home, alive and well.

Now the two brothers say they dropped Natalee and Joran Van Der Sloot off at the beach to be alone. Joran claims the two brothers dropped him off at his home, exchanged emails, and they left with Natalee in the car. They are ALL covering for each other...you can smell it! If the brothers did indeed drop Joran and Natalee off.....how in the hell were they getting back from the beach? If the brothers took off with Natalee and took Joran home...why wouild Natalee leave with them? She was interested in Joran not the brothers. Last two questions if anyone knows ...wasn't that Jorans car and has anyone heard the parents of the three say what time they got home that morning after they claim they dropped her off? I've not heard a thing about parents being questions of those boys. I still think they won't find a body anywhere on the island. She's in the ocean in my opinion. I saw a reporter on the beach at night saying this is where the boys said they took her. You could see the lighthouse up far behind him.The reporter talked about how rocky and dark it was there. They turned the camera lights off and you couldn't see anything. It was pitch black dark. Could anyone hear her cry out if she did? Could anyone see anything in the dark on the beach? I don't see how since there were no homes close by and it was so secluded there. I hope they find her one way or another. I pray they find her body if thats the case but those boys are covering for each other. Simply running the police in circles. The scary part with this case, is that for one thing, Aruba was thought to be a safe place, and this young girl is suddenly gone with no real answers.

I know if my teen daughter was thinking of going to Aruba right now, regardless of the fact the country is relatively safe crime-wise, I would need to feel that criminals there see attacks on tourists as a complete, losing proposition and one they would want to avoid at all costs.
But if Aruba does not show it is tough on criminals who commit crimes on tourists, they, (criminals) will begin to think it is open season. Finally a truth does in deed happen as they said. The guards are free. Amazing how the authorities in Aruba requested minimal assistance from the FBI. Yes the stories from the three are changing. Now that the 2 brothers claim the dropped Joran off at the beach with Natalee,why did they not say that in the very beginning? If Jorans claim that he was dropped off at home was true, why did he not say that at the beginning? Why.... because that is another lie. I'm sure the story will change again. First they were sticking together on their stories...now they are pointing the finger at each other. I still believe in my heart that ALL three were involved in one part or another and she is not on that island. When they first interviewed Joran and his friends and then released them..told the police about the guards...those three were given more time to scheme. A diversion so they could have the time they needed to plan and get rid of evidence. Lets see...Joran has been confirmed to be a lier. He lied to Natalee's friends about his age..lied obviously to be gambling in a casino and drinking...as i understand was not suppose to drive a car at 17 but that was HIS car and so on.......One of them will spill the beans and the truth will come out i'm sure, but time is slipping away and so is evidence. The authorities in Aruba should just suck it up and let the FBI work on this case with them. What could it hurt? He said his client was told personally by Joran about the brothers dropping him off at his house first. His client was in a cell right by Joran according to the attorney. No, unfortunately I get very little chance to watch the news about it. I read all I can on any article on the internet and watch news clippings on the internet. I have heard quite a bit about the boys saying they took her to the beach but never got out of the car, took her back to the hotel where a security gaurd approached her, and that she met them earlier in the week. I have heard all the statements they retracted but I havn't heard about this new change of story stating Joran was dropped off at his house. I just saw Mickey John one of the guards interviewed after his release. He said Depak in cell 22 beside his cell told him they made up the story about dropping her off at the hotel. Deepak the 21 year old, said he was driving the car and his brother in the seat beside him with Joran in the back seat with Natalee. Deepak said he dropped Joran and Natalee off at his house on the way back from the beach. Deepak said they never went back to the hotel at all. Deepak said they lied in the beginning about dropping her off at the holiday inn. It sounded like John said that Deepak told him he got an email or phone call from Joran about an hour later telling Deepak to give him a call. I didn't quite understand what John said because of his accent about that part. I"m sure we'll hear more

Has anyone seen any interviews with Natalee's friends who were with her at the bar that night? I'm not pointing the finger of blame, but why didn't her friends stop her? What would have happened if the guys threw her out of their car and left her stranded. She would have no idea where she was and how she could get back?Did she have a phone on her? Would it have even worked down there? I mean, I have been out in Aruba, Cancun, Bahamas, and so on when I was around 18 but I never left my group of friends. I would have never let any of my friends get in car especially, and drive off with a near stranger. Like I said; what would have happened if they left her stranded? No one would have a clue where she was at, which is exactly what happened. I feel bad for her friends, it must be terrible knowing you watched her go off and now she's missing.

KiKi, get your facts straight... The girl's name is Amy Bradley and it was on or near Curacao that she disappeared. Please don't give Aruba any more negative press than it already has. It is a wonderful island, with wonderful and friendly people.

LIES, LIES, LIES. This entire ordeal just makes me sick! I can't believe the authorities can't get the truth from these boys. What is taking so long? We are only hearing part of what's being said, obviously. What else is being said? "Something bad happened." What? What happenned? What's the rest of the story? It doesn't just stop there. Trained detectives and FBI agents should be doing these interviews, not the local Barney Fife. My heart goes out to Natalee's family. They need answers. We all need answers. Now some kid just found some panties and condoms somewhere in the area by the hotel on the beach. They have started searching there and I must say they are searching massively again !.. Good but will this anything that belonged to Natalee? I would agree that Natalee used poor judgment getting into that car with three strangers, and her friends are probably blaming themselves for letting her go off like that. We've all made stupid mistakes and I know I'm lucky that nothing horrible happened to me when I've used poor judgment, but whatever happened to Natalee is NOT HER FAULT. Whatever crime was committed, it was committed against her. I wish it were just a matter of her running away from home and making her family worry for nothing, but it's not. The stories from these three young men are changing and that is because they've been lying from the start. I don't believe for a second that she has staged her own disappearance, and I'm afraid I'm not inclined to believe that she has been sold into prostitution. This girl has been raped and murdered and the rapist(s)/murder(s) is/are in custody. The friendship is breaking down and the truth is going to come out. One of these boys is going to break down and get this terrible weight off of his shoulders. The sooner, the better. Natalee's family and the good people of Aruba have suffered enough.

News again.. there is a pond close to where the young boy found panties, condom and some black tape. They brought in what appears to be generators. Media thinks they may start draining the pond.........There is a thick brush area which hides the pond.

They ARE draining this pond. It is 4 to 6 feet deep they said. I heard something about a tip being called in also. This is the area Deepak claimed he dropped off Joran and Natalee. First it sounded like the guard said Deepak claimed he dropped them off at Jorans house but instead it was in the area by the Marriott Hotel where this pond is. The kid that found these items said he and his friends decided to go look around this area when they heard on the news about what the guard was told by Deepak. There have been circumstances where I didn't know where my children were for a short time and believe me, life just stops. What about that other girl that has been missing for seven or eight years. She's been sighted in Columbia or Argentina begging for help. What in the world is going on and why have we not been notified about this prior to this event? I really think that any person from any part of the world should be warned about this up front when they are sending their kids to this place. Okay, the latest bio we have on (who we might call) Moron Vander Slut comes from comments made by Geraldo Rivera via Fox News live. That is:
Vander Sloot is a renowned Womanizer (teenie...bopper)

He brags about his conquests and specifically targets female tourists.
He's blaming the other two brothers for being last seen with Natalee
He's 6ft 3 inches and nearly 200 lbs, and has instigated several fights in the bar

Okay, this doesn't mean he's quilty. But this is starting to look like a duck. Also, DNA evidence is degrading by the minute. Two weeks of body degradation will make a circumstantial "he said/she said" case out of this that just might go to an equital stage, if the Aruban Government keeps dragging their feet through this. One high-ranking official in charge of the investigation was quoted as saying, "How could I do this to my best friend's son" (Meaning: how could he drag Vander Sloot's dad into the investigation).

My heart aches and of course Natalee is a complete stranger, but she feels like a lost friend to me. I cannot imagine the pain her parents are suffering, but I pray for it to end soon. They need answers and they need to take their baby home.

As for the boys, yes, the bond of friendship they had is gone. It's every man, or boy, for himself. They've been leading the authorities astray from the start. I doubt they ever went to the lighthouse at all. Why do you think they "didn't get out of the car"? Because there would be no evidence of them being there and they knew it. But it sent everyone on a wild goose chase, and it's looking like they were sent on another one today. If Natalee's body is never found, these boys figure they'll get away with it. Is it possible they had access to a boat that evening? I'm sure I won't think of something new someone of authority hasn't already thought of, but my mind is just screaming for answers. My heart is breaking for Natalee's family, friends and classmates...and for all of you following this that ache the same way. We are human and although we see and hear of these things every day sometimes there's news of a missing girl that pulls you in and won't let go. Sometimes there is just something about the story that hits close to home. Hopefully Natalee and her loved ones feel the power of our love.

If there has been an attempt to cover-up, it will come out sooner or later. I am sure there are too many underpaid Aruban cops. They won't keep quiet for long. They just announced the search goes on and focused even more on Joran. Fact i didn't know is that his mother is a school teacher. Cynthia, I agree with you. Crime happens everywhere. This is not about Aruba. It's about sick individuals getting away with making porn films, raping and drugging and livin the rich life while their parents look the other way. Yes, this can happen anywhere in the world. I'm certainly not picking on the Aruban people themselves and the island is beautiful. The problem I have is how this has been handled by the police in Aruba. Yes ...we have drugs..yes we have rapes, murder and so on. The problem I think most people in the states have is the way the police are running this investigation. I realize the laws are different there and I respect that. However, I garantee you that in our country within 24 to 48 hours..helicopters would be in the air. Dogs sniffing would have been on the ground. Houses and cars would have been searched. Family and friends of suspects would have been interviewed. Crime scene investigators in white suits would have looked for evidence in the homes of the suspect or suspects at the very beginning. If a case isn't solved here it's not because they waited two weeks to do all that. Those from Aruba posting here can disagree all you want but the facts are the facts. Our police don't take their time trying to solve kidnapping, murder,and rape. Our police would have gotton the truth out of those boys by now. If I lived in Aruba, this would be a real concern for me. I just hope Arubans pay attention to this and ask yourselves a question"what if this happened to my child"? Palbella, just for your info, in Aruba we have the dutch law we can change it. It is a complete different law than your laws in the US. Offcourse I know we have a big gruop of investigators and police on this case we have FBI agents here. To protect the investigation they are not telling anything as an investigator here you can not go and tell everything you know because these guys have a lawyer who is walking around and is also doing his investigation off course every lawyer defends his client. You have to accept it this is how they do it here at the end of an investigation when one of them or all three of them confess and the case can be forwarded to court then the spokesperson for the police or from the prosecutor will give a press conference and will public everything in details what really happened. If it was 20 years ago they could have kick the boys their ass or keep them naked in a freezing room but nowadays you cant as a police officer or you guys know the AMNESTY International will blow it. And even if you wish to punish these guys you cant because there are cameras filming the interogation, and no one wish to loose their job. We feel very bad what has happened to that girl, the worst part all of the suspect are resident of Aruba but not born in Aruba. It is not fair that you guys are insulting Aruba and ARubans because we have always been the second home away from home for many americans. We have many americans investors here such as the big chain hotels, HYATT, WYNDHAM, RADISSON etc. fast food, Mac donalds, Wendys etc.

I agree they panicked and still are. Why would they ALL have the same story first and now change it? If Joran was the reason "something bad happened to Natalee" did he confide in the brothers with all the details? I'm sure the Dutch kid had big plans for Natalee that last night there. I'm just not sure that it included the the other boys until Joran pulled them into the mess he created if he hurt her. Who was the mastermind behind it all? Natalee's mother and father said he was arrogant when they met him. He had his own apartment attached to his parents home which gave him ALOT of privacy. Who knows what that kid was up to when no one was looking. We've learned some of it and so far it's not looking too good. I just hope and pray something is found soon. Her mother has been so strong through this and the Aruban people seem to be giving her some comfort but how much more can she endure. We all have one thing in common- death - we all have seen some terrible things - we know that the world is evil- I am saddened by what has happened (which is unknown) but not surprised or shocked- this is something we must learn from as a matter of fact it opened up my eyes to the danger that I put myself in when I visited aruba in 04. Me and my friend befriended a young guy that worked for this scuba diving place and went out with him in his cousin the last night of our stay- we were shown some really nice spots the light house - they took us where it overlooks the entire city which was beautiful but it wasn't until this incident, that I realized the danger I put myself in.. I am thankful to God that he watches over me daily

I have been following this story since the first day it was aired on the news, and my first thought was this. What if the person who took Natalee wasn't a guy? What if it was one of her friends who were on the trip with her who might have had something against Natalee? I have a 15 year old daughter, she thought she had 2 best friends, it turned out that she wouldn't make bad choices with her friends, and I monitor everywhere she goes and who she goes with. I know she isn't perfect, but she does use good judgement, I don't keep her locked down, but I do make sure she knows and decides right decisions from wrong decisions and she lets me know everyplace she is and at the time she is there she calls me from her cell, whether it be school, Walmart, her grandmothers, etc. Well one day, 2 of her best friends wanted her to skip school and go off with guys (her friends drive, so does she, they each drive to school everyday) well, she refused to go with them because she was afraid they would get into trouble if they got caught. The girls got caught a few days later after the 2nd or 3rd time of doing it. They thought my daughter was a rat (which she really isn't because these were her best friends) well, my daughter happened to be in a computer class with one of her so called friends, the friend was on the internet sending emails to the other friend. My daughter was sitting a few seats from one of the girls and some kind of way, read some stuff they were writing to eachother and she read her name on the screen so she got into one of their emails, I know this was wrong and she didn't tell me until she got home from school (you know all teens know their best friends passwords, I know these 3 did) anyway, these girls were emailing each other back and forth about how they would run my daughter over in the school parking lot, and the other one said, yes, the dumb B**ch needs to die and crazy scary stuff like that! Well I am close to my daughter and I love her so much, (I would die if anything ever happened to her). I made her print the emails and take them to the school officer. The 2 girls got into lots of trouble, no suspension or anything, just major warnings, which I thought this was a threat to my daughters life, it should have been much more than warnings. They now want my daughter to be best friends with them again, they call her all the time. I allow her to talk on the phone with them, but she is never allowed to go off in a car with them, or pick them up for anything. She isn't allowed to go to their homes either (and those 3 were always together, they were best friends). Natalee is a smart girl, she has received scholarships and is going to college, who knows what kind of kids were in her class, maybe they thought they deserved to be in her place when they graduated. Kids can be very vengeful, hateful and jealous also. My point for this long message is to say, you never know who your friends are, your best friends could be your worst nightmare and if my daughter didn't have a good head on her shoulder and went off with these girls, no telling what they could or would have done to her (no one would've known they were together, they were all supposed to be at school). I pray for Natalee and her family, and hope she is found safe and well like the little girl who was kidnapped by the homeless people a few years ago and made her wear the head wrap (I can't remember her name), and found months and months later. God Bless her and her family!

Well this case is getting wierder and wierder. Here are my comments first of all: We still do not know for sure what happended but I doubted that those three guys are coldblooded murderers, I do think though that something may have gone wrong and they got scared . But what i find so strange if you were trown inthe ocean your body must come up. If you were buried in the sand the would have to use shovels and dig at least 5 meters deep because by now the smell must have come up already. The fourth is a 26 year old male.A friend of Joran and all the authorities are giving out is his age and initials. They are now searching another area thought to be a tip from the newest arrest. His father is a prominent business man in Aruba. So far thats it.

Otherwise they would have let him go. The fifth person is considered a witness..sounded like they let that one go but nothing was clear on this person. I did hear the Steven Croes was a DJ on a party boat.

There was spokes person for the FBI on Fox. She mentioned the FBI offered to give the three young men a polygraph test and authorities REFUSED to let them. Aruban police use contracted divers and REFUSED to let FBI divers check any areas.

The FBI divers have not refused a damm thing. ARUBAN police have their own divers which they contracted meaning they're not Police divers just hired to dive for the police.

Our divers are not being used nor were they asked to be used. Aruban police will NOT give the OK to dive AND are not pointing any locations for them TO dive. THEY HAVE NOT REFUSED ANYTHING ! If anyone is refusing it's coming from ARUBA. As far as them not knowing where to start.. BAH.......trust me.........if Aruba asked them to dive they would have weeks ago!!! They are TRAINED and very EXPERIENCED in diving for search and rescue unlike the divers Aruban police have hired. The only clowns here have been the authorities in Aruba.

Oh no! Thanks for the update - I've been waiting to see if they make mention of it again on tv. On the subject of racism, after living in the Caribbean for such a long time I did notice that people with darker skin were treated QUITE differently from people with fairer complexions. It did not surprise me that the darker-skinned men were detained in this case. I think that Joran and his friends thought it might be easy to implicate the security guards based on the fact that they believed that the guards are (a) of a "lower" social standing with little, or no connections and (b) they were in the right place for the boys to point the finger at the guards and (c) the guards are black. I think it all comes into play....

I just had a few comments to make about some of the postings. First of all, I think it is in poor taste to joke about Natalee's death. I can only imagine how much pain her family is in, and jokes are pointless and cruel. I hope Natalee is found safe, and I think she was just trying to have a good time. This could have happened ANYWHERE. Although I am from the States, I would never ever have a bumper sticker that says "Boycott Aruba" on my car. Every country has its criminals, but it is not fair to generalize an entire nation by this one incident. Stereotypes are unfair, and until you have travelled and experienced what the world has to offer, it is easy to stay close-minded in beliefs. I've been lucky to travel to many parts of the world and met beautiful people along the way. Just like in the States, some people are loving and some are quite hateful. It is important to be very cautious while travelling to new places, but on the other hand is is more important to be tolerant and accepting of new places and cultures. Wow Palbella! I do hope that the scenario with Natalee being driven to Columbia is correct and that she is still alive. I have not heard any of those reports yet. Thanks for the updates and links everyone. I am still praying that there will be a good outcome, though earlier I really believed that there was no hope in this case. The other night when I saw Natalee's mother on Fox I was really taken by how adamant she was about Natalee being alive. Hey! If she can believe that being in that situation, so can I. Wow - I wouldn't consider Palbella a know-it-all. I would save that phrase for everyone on this site who has said she is dead. What makes them know she's dead? I havn't written on this site for a while but like I said in #91, nothing has been proven in this case. Only thing that's 100% true is that Ms. Holloway is missing. There is so much confusion with this case. I for one will contiunue to believe she is alive until proven otherwise, just like her mother believes. How could anyone not believe that? I find it so bizzare that after 3 weeks, they have found NOTHING of Ms. Holloways. No blood, no bodily fluids, hair, clothing, nothing. If these boys did kill her they must be professionals to not leave a trace of evidence behind. That's why I really think she is alive. I really hope this will turn out like Elizabeth Smart in Utah, who disappeared without a trace and was found alive a year later. I wish that would happen for all missing children.

Whether I'm right or wrong, I just hope everyone realizes there are families out there with missing children who read your comments everyday. For someone like me, who happens to be a cousin of Ms. Holloway, I truly pray there will be more consideration in certain peoples postings. Thank you!

I commented at post #131 that if there is a cover-up by Aruban LE, it will be hard to keep secret and "will come out sooner or later." Please note that I did not mean to disrespect Arubans or the police force suggesting that they would sell their stories for money. I am just saying that in today's world, anybody who thinks they can get away with something like a cover-up is subject to 1) whistleblowers who are going to do the right thing and tell what they know, or 2) sleuth reporters whose bosses have deep pockets and will pay for any dirty information that reporters can find.

I would like to know exactly how much evidence an Aruban judge will need to convict. But for now, IMO the judge seems to be doing a good job of keeping their asses in jail.

Hi people. Here are more of my comments;
First of all I think they should be questioning the 100+ "so called friends" she was vacationing with. They were also the last ones to be with her, they know in which state she was. It is still very incomprehensible that these "so called friends" knowing she was very drunk( I even heard that they fixed her up in the bathroom because she was so drunk), would let her go into a car with three strange men. Natalee may have known the dutchboy but for how long 2 days? They met at the casino once. Why did these "so called friends" just pack up and leave, leaving Natalee's passport plus money and clothes in her room? Why didn't some of them stay so that they could help in the investigation? Now they're all telling these angels stories in the U.S. but tourists have seen all their bad behaviors on the island. Also I find it very odd that up until this day I have not seen the mother shed one tear. I mean I would be hysterical by now? I will say this again, what if this is just a big scam? Maybe her friends are into it too. They could have easelily change her looks use a fake passport, and Natalee is somewhere now hiding. Maybe she just wanted to escape. They also should be questioning her parents, maybe she had some roblems with them. I think all these things have to be looked into instead of just assuming the worst. Ms. Holloway's family has hired an Aruban lawyer and is asking to see the police report from may 30th. The family is also asking to see all the reports and evidence in this case. Secondly the family has hired a private team from Texas made of volunteers to come and search the island. They will be bringing 3 dogs and sonar equipment.

Fourth Aruba Detainee to Remain in Custody in Missing Teen Case

Oranjestad, Aruba (AP) - A judge ordered a party boat disc jockey held until at least next Tuesday in the disappearance of an Alabama teenager in Aruba.

Steve Gregory Croes, 26, is one of four men detained in the four-week-old case. None have been charged, frustrating the family of 18-year-old Natalee Holloway.

On Monday relatives said a Texas company would help search for her, as the family prepared a lawsuit demanding investigators share their findings with the family.

"I want to see the police record from May 30th," said the teen's mother, Beth Holloway Twitty. Holloway insists the three young men hold the key to the investigation and that authorities should press them harder to tell the truth.

Natalee Holloway, of Mountain Brook, Ala., disappeared in the early hours of May 30, the last day of a five-day vacation with 124 students celebrating their high school graduation. Her passport and packed bags were found in her room.

Croes, who was arrested Friday, said he knew one of two Surinamese brothers detained in the case because they went to the same Internet cafe, according to Marcus Wiggins, Croes' employer on the party boat Tattoo. It was not known what other ties he may have had to either the brothers or a third young man in detention, 17-year-old Joran van der Sloot, the son of a justice official in Aruba. The boat Tattoo docks near the Holiday Inn where Holloway was staying.

On Saturday, a judge ordered the three to remain in jail at least another week.

The missing girl's uncle, Paul Reynolds, told Court TV Monday that the Dickinson-based Texas EquuSearch Mounted Search and Recovery Team would help search the island. The group conducts searches on horseback.

"They are going to help us search for Natalee in ways we couldn't before," Reynolds said.

Texas EquuSearch, made up of volunteers, said on its Web site that a team is traveling to Aruba this week.

Investigators refuse to say whether they believe Holloway is dead. Her mother has said she will continue to believe the teen is alive until she has proof to the contrary.

Natalee Holloway: Still Missing
Bump and Update: 6/21/05, 9:00 pm: On Greta tonight: Joran is cooperating. Two of his lawyers went to see him yesterday and today and he is holding up okay, stressed somewhat, but okay. Also, Joran's father picked him up at a McDonalds at 11pm the night Natalee disapeared and took him home. Joran then snuck out and went to Carlos and Charlies where he met Natalie. The rest is unknown. At least one of the two brothers is also cooperating, according to his lawyer - and sticking to his story.

Greta is back in Aruba and she and Beth Holloway went to the van der Sloot's house (camera crew in tow) and the father very politely invited them in - without the cameras. They stayed 90 minutes. No word about what was said, other than all the parents are very distraught. Mrs. Vandersloot kissed Beth Holloway goodbye (cameras recorded their leaving.)

The Birmingham Post-Herald has reported that the recently arrested Joran Van der Sloot was in a pushing match with some of Natalee Holloway's friends earlier on during the night of her disappearance.

One of the three young men arrested Thursday in the disappearance of Mountain Brook teen Natalee Holloway got into a pushing match with some of her friends in an Aruban bar, one of Holloway's friends said Thursday.

Bryan Reynolds, 18, one of 124 recent high school graduates whowent to Aruba in late May, said some of his friends almost got into a fight with Joran Andreas Petrus Van Der Sloot and his friends.

The scuffle started after Van Der Sloot, a Dutch suspect arrested at his upper-class home in Oranjestad, Aruba, Thursday morning, had been talking to 18-year-old Holloway at a bar where she and classmates hung out during the five-day trip, Reynolds said.

The two brothers arrested with Van der Sloot, Satish Kalpoe, 18, and Deepak Kalpoe, 21 claim that Natalee Holloway and Van der Sloot were kissing in the rear of the vehicle now impounded by authorities.

The three are currently scheduled to appear before a judge on Saturday. The judge will rule on the justification for their being held while the investigation continues. Pictured above from left to right are Satish Kalpoe, Joran Van Der Sloot, and Deepak Kalpoe.

My boyfriend and I own 2 houses. We live in one and rent the other out for supplemental income. I am college educated (not on my parents money) and he is not. I have healthcare benefits and he does not. We are both caucasion (although that shouldn't matter). We can get a loan for just about anything we want and it is because of a big thing called credit and work ethic/history. Banks don't care about your education. All they care about is that you have proof that you can hold a steady job and that your salary can cover your debt/income ratio. Banks also care the most about your credit report/payment history. If you don't make your payments on time or not at all then forget getting a loan for a pack of bubble gum. If a person has no credit like these people probably don't, then they are usually set for a loan because the banks are there to make money and more willing to take a chance on something like that then someone that makes late/no payments. Homes are equity and a win win situation for a bank. They will give chances like this to people like that especially when they can get a nice free down payment from the government as a welcome gift. You see the bank gets that money and gives them the loan. Even if they default on the loan the bank can still sell the house to someone else to make the money and they have kept the down payment as well. Does that make sense?

I live in Nebraska and we have a yearly INS raid on the illegals that come here to work at meat packing plants. They don't learn english either and cause tons of problems. I must commend the men in Texas that were armed with shotguns patrolling the border. When I heard that some got arrested for shooting illegals, my only thought was "WHERE THE HELL WERE YOUR GUYS WITH THE SHOVELS!!!" I'm sorry. But eventually it will come to just that.

I don't know if any of you heard about the Niguraguan that came to Massachusetts illegally. He lived with his young American girlfriend and her mother. The girl got pregnant. He beat her. The courts sent him back to Niguragua. He CAME BACK ACROSS THE BORDER AND KILLED HER! Not too long ago, a 17 year old illegal female came across the boarder in California. THEY HAD HER and LET HER GO. She came her to Massachusetts. 1. She was here illegally; 2. She was 17; 3. She was driving a car WITHOUT A LICENSE when she hit a police officer that had roadside detail. Then not more than 3 days ago I heard about another Illegal male that was shot trying to cross the boarder.... SHOT!!!! Trying to do what????? Get into the US illegally! And guess what???? He was TREATED FOR THAT GUNSHOT WOUND IN FRAMINGHAM, MASSACHUSETTS! AND AT WHO'S EXPENSE????? MINE!!!!!

It's offensive and surprising to me how people think of illegals. I'm the second generation from my family to live in the US and everything my family has, they have worked hard for. Harder then a lot of American born people I think. Let's not hate all of the illegals, it depends on the type of person that they are, not if they come here illegally. I know a man who came to American from Cuba of a raft, he spent 9 days at sea before arriving. He is now a real estate broker and makes something around 5K a month. He appreciates everything he has because he could have never have had that opportunity in Cuba. Here is some unasked for advice for Lexa, the girl with the attitude problem and the eating disorder.
Lexa, I have no experience in eating disorders, but I am pretty sure this will solve your problem:
First, go out and volunteer all of your time to any organization that needs you (and believe me, there are plenty). You could help out at a homeless shelter or soup kitchen, a battered women's shelter, the city animal shelter, the cancer section of a hospital, a children's hospital, a nursing home, a veteran's hospital. Maybe you could travel the world and help refugees in war torn areas, or starving Africans, and see how the desperately poor live, or rather, try to live.
Now, once you get some good hard looks into the eyes of people dying of cancer, or terrified children that have been battered and abused most of their short lives, or innocent dogs and cats, puppies and kittens, right before they are put to sleep just for being born into an overcrowded, uncaring world, or the sunken eyes of an old veteran who fought for the liberites you take for granted, or the weak looks of someone starving in Africa, you will hopefully be so overcome with the suffering in this world that you will forget all about stupid things like weight and looks and other shallow crap, and instead work toward ending suffering. This will work also for shopaholics.
If, for some reason, all of the volunteer work has no effect on you at all, well, I guess you are then deemed hopeless.

Hey Tammy, thanks for the compliment. I remember, back in college we were discussing this kind of stuff, and when I stated that opinion, I thought I was going to be dragged outside and shot! Where the hell do people get the idea that the government (or their parents, or God or....) owes them anything? If I want kids, I will certainly be sure I can afford the time and money to bring them up properly, before having them. But I will never expect them to be supported by anyone else.

I think some states might (and if they don't they ALL should) have a system where you have a certain amount of time to be on welfare and then when time's up, it's up. No matter if you have 2 or 12 kids.

Another thing we all must think about (concerning people on welfare) is that poverty is not just about lack of money. Because I am an educator in a "title I" school (as we call then in Florida) I am reading a book called "A Framework for Understanding Poverty" by
Ruby Payne...a great, eye-opening book if anyone's interested. The book talks about SO many factors that affect our poor/indigent children and their ability to learn and "get out" of that life style and turn their futures around...and for most, there isn't much of one....statistically.

I also thank god everyday that I found a man that loves me and wanted to be with me since I have 4 kids that aren't his. He loves them like they are his own and loves me unconditionally. We have been together a few years now and I don't know that I will ever get married again; too scared I guess. I am fortunate though. I just wanted to say that.

Tammy, you are inspirational to me on so many levels. I admire strong people who stick to their beliefs no matter how tough times get. How did you pull through all of it? And their is nothing wrong with never wanting to marry again. Just because it's not on paper doesn't mean your love isn't just as good.

I look back and I honestly don't know how I did it. I remember going from one job straight to another (I had 3 jobs at one point) and going to school and never being home. I remember crying in bed at night most often then not. I remember wishing I could spend more time with my kids and thinking to myself, "just a little longer and it will be ok" I finally made it through. I remember being so lonely for affection. It was terrible. I blame alot of it on my upbringing. I am not looking for a pity trip so don't think that but my parents were worthless and my family was completely disfunctional on every level. My dad was drunk (still is I think) and my mom was a whore that ran around all the time. I had no structure and absolutely no guidance whatsoever. I got pregnant when I was 18 by my future husband and we got married because I was pregnant not because we loved one another. Then I got pregnant 3 more times. We got married way too young and that was our dimise. He was always a hard worker with a good paying job at a factory with benefits but he had no education either. We are good friends now and have both grown up alot. I live vicariously through my kids now. I came from a long line of disfunctional upbringingings and I had to stop the cycle. I DID! I have no contact with my parents by my choice. They are worthless and will never change or learn. I tried to help them but it's a lost cause. I just have to live for my kids and set a good example for them now. That's all I can do.

On the other website I'm on we do this thing called rate this chick. Girls send in their profiles and pictures and we rate them with comments on a scale of 1-10. we get pretty mean sometimes but they know that and still submit their info for us to rate them. ORANJESTAD, Aruba — For the first time Friday, Aruban authorities detailed the allegations suspected of the five men being held in connection with the disappearance of 18-year-old Natalee Holloway and they suggested that Natalee was murdered.

Joran van der Sloot and his friends Deepak and Satish Kalpoe are being held under suspicion of murder and kidnapping as well as being an accessory to murder. A fourth man, Steve Croes, is being held under the same conditions.

The fifth man, Paul van der Sloot -- the father of 17-year-old Joran -- was being held on suspicion of complicity to pre-meditated murder, complicity to kidnapping and murder and kidnapping. Under the Aruban system, complicity is a lesser charge.

None of the men have been charged with a crime. But all are in police custody.

Jesstin Pagan, 5, Daniel Agosto, 6, and Anibal Cruz, 11, were found dead Friday night in the trunk of a car near the home where they had last been seen playing on Wednesday.

Police have placed yellow crime scene tape and tarpaulin in front of the car to block off the vehicle. The bodies were discovered by Agosto's father, David, who opened the car's trunk, looked inside and then fell to his knees screaming.

David Agosto was then overcome by grief and later taken away by EMTs.

The youths had been the focus of a massive search by dozens of law enforcement officials and community residents. The boys had last been seen squirting one another with a garden hose

Officials: Missing N.J. Boys Suffocated

CAMDEN, N.J. - Three boys whose bodies were found in the trunk of a car following a massive, two-day search died from accidental suffocation, not foul play, authorities said Saturday.
The bodies were discovered Friday when David Agosto lifted the trunk of a banged-up maroon Toyota Camry in the yard where the boys were last seen. There, he found the bodies of his 6-year-old son Daniel Agosto; 5-year-old Jesstin Pagan and 11-year-old Anibal Cruz.

Officials said no foul play was suspected, but it was not clear why searchers - who combed the yard next to Cruz family home - did not find the boys sooner.

The car was searched when police first responded to the report of the missing children Wednesday at about 8:30 p.m., Police Chief Edwin Figueroa said.

But county prosecutor Vincent Sarubbi said it can be inferred from the grisly discovery Friday night that the trunk of the battered car had not been checked. He said police and prosecutors will issue a report on the handling of the search within 30 days.

For two days, searchers combed alleyways and woods, abandoned houses and vacant lots. Helicopters scanned from the sky, and boats searched the nearby Delaware River.

A neighbor was watching when David Agosto made the tragic discovery.

"I saw him open the trunk and he just started screaming and he collapsed to the ground," said Carmen Villa, 37, who lives across the street.

"It's just a tragedy," said Melissa Martinez, 25, weeping as she watched from Villa's front yard across the street as police began cordoning off the scene. "They've been there all the time. We were just standing here yesterday saying `Where could they be?' and the whole time, they were right there. It's just heartbreaking."

The boys vanished without a trace Wednesday night while playing in the yard, according to authorities.

Strangers handed out missing persons fliers to passing motorists, civilians aided in the search and everyone wondered how three children could suddenly go missing at once.

The disappearances triggered a search in which 150 police, firefighters and other law enforcement personnel scoured the neighborhoods of this poor city across the Delaware River from Philadelphia.

But it turned up nothing, until Agosto's father made the grisly discovery. He broke out in tears, throwing himself against a car, and was later taken away on a stretcher by paramedics, crying and flailing his arms and legs.

According to Police Chief Edwin Figueroa, the vehicle - which neighbors said had sat unused in the yard for three months - had been searched before, but apparently the trunk went unchecked.

Cruz and Agosto both lived in the vibrant multiethnic Cramer Hill neighborhood where the bodies were found. Pagan lived in neighboring Mount Ephraim and was visiting Cruz's home when they disappeared.

Relatives said Cruz often played with younger children, in part because he suffered from neurological problems and had just finished the fifth grade at a school for special needs students.

"He may be 11 years old, but his mind is more like a 4- or 3-year-old," said his grandmother, Carmen Cruz.

Agosto, who disappeared a day before his last day of kindergarten at the H.C. Sharp Elementary School just down the block from his house, had never been off the block alone before, according to his mother, Iraida Roman.

She described him as a regular kid who liked to "ride bikes, play in the dirt - simple kid stuff."

Pagan also attended a special needs school, said a family friend, Cornell Worlds Jr. The boy idolized the Los Angeles Lakers and star player Kobe Bryant, Worlds said.

He was "a good-spirited type of kid," Worlds said.

Holloway case is getting so much attention. first, she is from Mountain Brook a very prestigous and RICH community and second she is caucasion. I hated to say it but it is definitely true. I think either one of 3 things happened:

Natalee and Joran were horsing around on the beach and Natalee fell and maybe hit her head on a rock or something and Joran freaked out and called his dad and they did something with her body, Joran and Natalee may or may not have been wicked intoxicated. Who knows?

Or

Joran wanted to have sex with Natalee and she didn't want to and Joran went postal on her killing her and the two brothers heard it or Joran made them help him along with the father and they dumped her body into the ocean.

Or

She really fell off the boat maybe they pushed her or she just fell who knows? Either way I hope Natalee is found and brought back to her parents for a proper burial. ORANJESTAD, Aruba — Four strands of blond hair were being flown to Holland for DNA testing, Aruban police confirmed to FOX News Sunday. The discovery could be a much-needed break in the search for missing Alabama high school student Natalee Holloway.

The foot-long locks were attached to a piece of duct tape in a remote part of the island territory known as Boca Tortuga. Police received an anonymous tip that led them to search the area. Sources on the scene said that the hair washed ashore and was found in a cave. Divers were reportedly dispatched the area to retrieve any other possible evidence.

The strands will be flown to Holland to see if they are a genetic match for the missing teen. Results could be available as early as Tuesday.

A park ranger found the duct tape while collecting trash Sunday on rocks at Boca Tortuga, an inlet near a series of caves on Aruba's northeast coast, said National Park Ranger Service spokeswoman Dilma Arends.

Boca Tortuga is on the opposite side of Aruba from where the 18-year-old was last seen in public, and her father expressed little hope that the find would yield an important clue.

"We've had a lot of information that turned out false," David Holloway said as he prepared to leave Aruba and return home to Meridian, Miss.

The ranger who made the find, Mario Rasmijn, said there were several strands, each about 12 inches long, and that some were light blond and others were dark.

The hair will be sent to the Netherlands for DNA analysis, said police spokesman Edwin Comemencia. Aruba, a Dutch protectorate, doesn't have a lab to conduct the genetic testing.

A separate test will be conducted by the FBI at its lab in Quantico, Va., said FBI spokeswoman Judy Orihuela in Miami.

It was unknown when the results would be disclosed.

Searches by Dutch marines, Aruban police, and some 2,000 volunteers have found no trace of Holloway, of Mountain Brook, Ala., who was last seen in public in the early hours of May 30, at the end of a high school graduation trip to the Caribbean island.

A volunteer group from Dickinson, Texas, that had searched for three weeks left the island Sunday.

A 17-year-old Dutch resident of Aruba, Joran van der Sloot, has been detained in connection with Holloway's disappearance, but no charges have been filed.

David Holloway said he tried to visit van der Sloot in jail Saturday because "I wanted Joran to meet with me and tell me face to face what happened."

Authorities did not allow the meeting and Holloway ran into the detained youth's father, a judge in training on the island, outside the jail.

Holloway said he gave the elder van der Sloot, Paul, three books to pass along to his son -- the Bible and two Christian inspirational works. It was not immediately known if Joran received the material.

Paul van der Sloot was detained on June 23 for allegedly aiding his son, but released four days later by a judge who ruled there was not enough evidence to hold him.

Outside the jail, the two men exchanged a few words. "I said I was a forgiving person," and the Dutch father's eyes filled with tears, Holloway said.

"He said he understands my situation, that he's a father, too, and that he'll do anything for his son," Holloway said.

Authorities can hold van der Sloot until Sept. 4, when he must be charged or released. Six other men detained at various times during the investigation have been released.

Also over the weekend, the missing teen's family posted a new reward of $175,000 for her safe return in addition to the $50,000 already offered for a tip to her whereabouts.

I still believe Joran slipped something in Natalee Holloway's drink that night and she had a heart attack. It's not likely that Natalee used any drugs before being she was an honor roll student. ORANJESTAD, Aruba — Authorities have taken DNA samples from a jailed Dutch youth and two of his friends as investigators turn their focus to physical evidence in the case of a missing Alabama teenager, defense attorneys said Wednesday.

The samples were taken Tuesday, a day after investigators said they would conduct DNA tests on blond hair attached to duct tape that was found along Aruba's northeastern coast, in a possible break to the six-week-old disappearance of Natalee Holloway.

Joran van der Sloot, 17, was taken to a hospital and submitted a saliva sample for the genetic testing sought by prosecutors, his attorney Richie Kock said.

Two Surinamese brothers, Satish Kalpoe, 18, and Deepak Kalpoe, 21, who were detained earlier in the case but released, also submitted saliva samples the same day, said Ruud Offringa, an attorney for the older brother.

Authorities told defense attorneys the DNA would be compared to material found by investigators but did not disclose what would be used in the comparison, Offringa and Kock said.

Van der Sloot and the brothers were the last people known to have seen Holloway before she vanished May 30. They have not been charged and all three maintain their innocence.

The three were arrested June 9, but a judge ordered the Kalpoe brothers released July 4 for lack of evidence. The judge ordered van der Sloot to remain in custody until Sept. 4, when prosecutors must present arguments again if they want to prolong the detention.

The saliva specimens will be sent to the Netherlands, and it could take a week or two for the findings to be disclosed, Offringa said. The test to determine if the hair came from Holloway also will take place in the Netherlands.

Aruba, a Dutch protectorate, doesn't have a lab to conduct the genetic testing.

A spokesman for the Aruban government, Ruben Trapenberg, declined to comment Wednesday on the investigation and the prosecutor could not be reached.

The FBI, which has been advising in the investigation, has said it would conduct separate genetic testing on the hair.

A park ranger found the duct tape while collecting trash Sunday on the opposite side of the island from where the 18-year-old honors student was last seen in public.

Holloway disappeared on the last day of a vacation with 124 classmates to celebrate their high school graduation. Extensive searches by Dutch marines, Aruban police, and some 2,000 volunteers have found no trace of her.

A volunteer search organization from Dickinson, Texas, that pulled its team from the island on Sunday said it planned to dispatch three people to the Caribbean island on July 28 with ground-penetrating radar

It amaze's me how people can act the way you do. You really need to pray & ask god for forgivness! My prayers & thoughts are w/ the Holloway family.

My theory is that Natalee was with those three guys and after getting drunk with the guys, Natalee went to the beach. At the beach she had rough unprotected sex with all three guys at once or with one guy at a time. After they all cam inside her they got up and left. Natalee was lying on the beach naked at that point, now too tired and exhausted to move after the gangbang. Later, a great white shark may have appeared out of nowhere and took a bite out of Natalee and pulled her into the ocean. She has probably been killed by now by the shark somewhere in the ocean. No evidence of Natalee has been found because all the blood, sperm and any DNA had been washed into the ocean by the waves after she was killed by the shark. I am very sure this is exactly what happened, nobody can be convicted in this case because their was no evidence.

While Erin's "theory" is a bit extreme with the great white shark coming to the beach, it just might not be too far off. The low life dutch boy she was with says he left her alone on the beach. Whether he drugged her or whether she was drunk, what kind of decent person just abandons someone who was in no condition to take care of herself? If she was left on the beach in an altered state, she very well may have wondered out into the water, perhaps she was throwing up and just wanted to rinse off or whatever. I've been to Aruba many times...there is an undercurrent that can pull you out and could especially affect someone who was unaware due to alcohol or drugs.

We have watched the news every day and followed this story so closely. I wish more than anything that this could still have a positive ending but at this point I don't feel it's possible. Actually at this point I think the family will be lucky if they could minimally just have closure instead of just left hanging.

This sort of thing could happen anywhere that someone lets their guard down, and I can't say that Aruba's vacation reputation should be tarnished because of this unfortunate incident. However, watching how the authorities have handled the investigation has really opened our eyes regarding the legal system in Aruba and our favorite place in paradise has really taken a personal dive, in as much as we no longer have any desire to return for our annual vacation and will probably sell our timeshare that we have there. I think she just snuck away for some quiet time in Vegas. Now she's too scared to come back because everyone is making such a big fuss about her "disappearance".

On a trip to Aruba in 2002, my wife and I walked by the Carlos and Charlies Bar as well as others that appear on this short street off the strip. We were approached by panhandlers and drug selling junkies. As we left for our car they followed us, we actually made a effort to share our ordeal withnthe local Police who indicated these people were harmeless. We felth that this country simply put, doesnt give a damn. After leaving the country we determined we would never go back and we would never recomend anyone visit this unsafe Island. What disturbs me most is the lack of respect this country has for the millions of dollars Americans have contributed to there economy. Quite franky, I hope a boycott takes place and we eliminate travel as they have to CUBA. Our prayers are to the family and friends who have lost a loved one.

Lets face it people this tragedy has been completely screwed up by the third world justice system, Aruba like most of the third world counties have the most basic police and almost no investigative skills, either they are in-bred home grown cops or indeed they are rejects from other countries looking for the quiet life. Having lived in the islands for many years I have seen examples of this in Curacao,and Aruba before, they adopt the "this is my country" attitude with x pats or imported workers.

There was another similar case in Bermuda a few years ago, and although Bermuda is a very developed country the in-bred 3rd world police tatics allowed two guys to walk free who had murdered and raped a Canadian tourist. These places are all about saving face, they are not interested in the truth it has to be swept under the carpet as soon as possible. I vote we bankrupt the country by staying away, and getting others to do the same, then perhaps the best use of the place would be to turn it into a parking lot for Curacao and Bonnaire.

Just a few days after learning Natalee's disappearance,I had the most upsetting dream.I have only told my husband of this untill now,at the time I thought it was just a silly dream.But now I know Natalee wants me to tell her story.I think I've ran from this long enough,I don't think the nightmares will ever stop untill I tell the world just what happened on that night.My husband will be embarrassed,but I have to do this.I have had this same dream over and over and over again night after night for months and months.The dream starts out in a parking lot,Natalee has a fight with a friend from school,the friend tells Natalee she also likes the boy they met casino that he was anybodys game,Natalee informed her friend that she was leaving there with him shortly and she was sorry but he wants to be with me not you.The friend walks back into the club,Natalee is leaning up against the wall outside the club,shes had alot to drink and is off balance.Within a few minutes,three boys come outside two of them leave,the other boy asked Natalee to take a walk with him and just talk,she said ok then took off her sandals off and said I can't walk in these and laughed.They then walked a couple of blocks,when the two other boys from the club pulled up beside them and asked if they wanted a ride?Youron I think I got what you wanted man.I hope this is what you wanted.So Natalee and Youron got into the back seat.Youron told the boy in the passenger seat to pour them some of what was in the bottle.The boy adds a powdery mixture to Natalee's drink and spills some on the seat as he passes back to her.He tells her he's sorry about that,she says to him no problem.Within a few minutes Natalee passed out.Youron tells the boy in the passenger seat I hope she got enough moron.The next thing I see in my dream is a white boathouse with stairs.Youron tells them to wait there untill he unlocks the door.The boy in the drivers side gets into the back seat with Natalee and starts to fondle about her body.The boy in the passengers side says the boy in the back,I get to go first this time,the other boy tells him I know asshole.I believe in my heart the two boys are infact the Kalpo brothers.Youron returns to the car,they said what took so long,he said he had to call home and let his parents know he was'nt comming home that he and a friend was staying at the boathouse.They then took Natalee up the stairs into the boathouse cabin.Natalee tries very hard to open her eyes but she passes back out very quickly.The youngest of the three boys undresses her and said man look at that p...y. The other two boys tell him to hurry up,before she comes to.One by one they have thier way with Dear sweet Natalee.They then put Natalee clothes back on her and take her to the couch in the other room.Youron tells the other two boys to leave,give him about an hour and call him on the cell.He then proceed to wake Natalee,offers her a drink she tells him she would like some water and asked him where was the restroom?About that time someone knocked on the door,Youron opens the door and its a girl shes is crying asking him if he has another girl up here?He told her yes,as a matter of fact I do.At first,I thought this was a young jelous girl,but it was'nt it was Youron's mother.She started calling Natalee names and lunged at her tearing natalee's clothes and pulling her hair and dragging her the door,Natalee asked Youron to do something but he just sat there.They reached the stairs and she then pushed Natalee down the stairs.Youron rushed down the stairs,where Natalee laid lifeless.What are we gonna do? What are we gonna do?They both were frantic,they then called Youron's dad and he came to the boathouse.The wrapped her body in a blue tarp and pulled her into the tall grass.Youron's dad told youron and his wife to go home,and they did.He then called another man,asked him to meet him at the boathouse.The man pulled up in a green suv and got out.He told the man something bad has happened and told the man if he made it go away,he would pay him alot of money,he then showed the man where Natalee's body was.The man told him to go home to his wife and son that would take care of the problem.The last thing Natalee shows me in my dream,she is kneeling at the foot of the staircase pulling a necklace from the sand,I truly believe she is telling me her necklace broke during the fall and it still lies there just beneath sand.I know with all my heart without a doubt,this is what happened.I only hope and pray that someday somehow all the people involved in the death of Natalee Holoway will be brought to justice and pay for what they have done to this beautiful young girl and her family.I realize I should have told her story long before now,please forgive me Natalee.

I don't know about anyone else but I think Natalie's mother was probably one very domineering and controlling person.
Natalie was portrayed as a sweet very religious girl headed to medical school.
My guess is that either for rebellion or attention she dressed and acted like too many young American girls (you know the Paris Hilton-Nicole Richie look) seductive and trashy. In addition drugs and alcohol are a big part of this image. I'm willing to bet that Natalie was not the sweet young religious thing she was portrayed to be. I bet she thought she was experienced and wild when she got drunk & went off in a car late at night with 3 guys & ended up paying for it with her life.

I have traveled though-out the Caribbean for some time now.
I must say I am all ways surprised be the amount of drinking
and sexual activity displayed by our young people. If there
were video of that nites events, I can assure you... One
would certainly receive an eye full. The norm is flashing,
thongs, one can already see.. (just more of then with each
drink), striping, groping. and just out and out grinding, that
is supposed to be some from of dancing....After a evening
of this activity and drinking, one needs little imagination to
what will happen next. It's sort of that Vegas thing.... I
guess.
I'm also amazed by how the local men just took complete
control over the young white female tourist. I pointed this out
to my boyfriend on our last trip. It almost seemed like these
girls had absolutely no interest in white male's at all. You would
see nicely dressed good looking white guy, go up to these girl's and
just be totally ignored ..... later you would see these girls leave
the club with older and much less attractive black guy's.....
As reported in the papers this girl got in the car with these
guy's, drove off to some beach and had sex with all three of them.

Unfortunately this is not the 1st dissapearance that has happened in Aruba. In 1998 another young American tourist dissapeared. She has yet to be found, but the media reported that she was spotted in a brothel and asking for help. No one can stress the importance of safety, if its in your own backyard or in another country. There are awful people everywhere, even in a country as small as Aruba. And one more thought, if Natalee was drugged, perhaps a date rape drug dropped in her drink, she would not have been able to make a rational decision. Hopefully this will come to a happy conclusion.

If Natalee has not been killed or has not died from an OD, perhaps she has been scuddled off to Venezuela or Colombia. This is more common than is publicized and it is not an URBAN legend. There is a market for women and children in South America that is very well known about in the Carribean but rarely mentioned in the North American press. This is why reports are coming in about the investigation going into other nearby countries. I hope she has just done a self-imposed disappearing act to get away from Alabama! If so, she should send some message that she is alive and well and living a dream!

Teaching "tolerance to a fault" is not, I fear, the most sensible way to raise children. But that is neither here nor there. I too have seen a fair amount of the world in my time, and my advice to young Americans is to at least use a vague amount of caution when traveling to foreign ports. From what I've seen of most of them, they don't.

As for Natalee Holloway, we do not yet have all the facts available to us. However, from what we know so far, it would appear that a bright young woman has died needlessly, that at least two innocent people have been arrested and held in jail, that three families are likely to suffer deep and profound grief -- and four young lives have been ruined. That is the real tragedy here.

The idea that a person would go on vacation, do what she wants and mind her own business is somehow a problem for people, is ridiculous. Whether this girl had sex with all five of the guys in question or none of them, whether she drank for three straight days or not at all doesn't mean she deserved to lose her life. Call it what you want spirituality, intellgence, respect, regard; a belief that hurting and/or killing people for a thrill doesn't follow the social code. A lesson learned. Really shouldn't people be able to travel, party or do whatever as long as they are minding their own business? Why is it that people have to find out if the girl was above reproach before they can consider this a tragedy? Very strange indeed.

I don't base my self-image on something as insignificant to me as what people who happen to be of the same gender as me decide to do. But your opinion that all the evils in the world are there because of men is, in my opinion, slightly misguided. For general evilness I think its important that males are generally more in the posotion to carry them out. How many women executives are there compared to men? How easy do you think it is for a woman to gain entrance to a drug circuit as a important part? Just as women have a hard time fully integrating in the tougher parts of legal bussiness, they're having a tough time integrating in the tough world of crime. But the latest numbers i've heard of speak of a significant rise in female criminals, especialy compared to the rise of male criminals. Just goes to show you that emncipation is working, eventually.
As for sex crimes, its pretty hard for a woman to violently sexually abuse a man, though it happens. If we look at more accepted ways of advantage-taking, even on the sexual level, we see that women are just as able as men to treat people cruelly, and plainly use them. This is ofcourse not nearly as bad as rape, but it just goes to show that a female mind isn't a priori more pure than a male mind. So no, i'm not ashamed because some other males decide to act like bastards, but i would swallow hard if i were a women and read the bigoted words coming out of your mind.

Before everyone forgets Natalee is still missing. Whether it be guys who commit the most violent crimes natalee hasnt been found yet and thats what brought us here togather. Did you hear the Diario Newspaper spokes person Hubart Teal say that he has someone on the outside that has knowledge of kidnappings by a certain group and how they work. This outside tip told Teal that Natalee was kidnapped and is being driven to Colombia. He was told their route had to change several times trying to get her to a certain destination. He said the person told him they are following a car that they believe she is in. When Teal was asked if he told Natalee's mother? He said No.. that he is working with the police in Aruba about the details. Anyone else heard this?

According to the FBI ..the divers they sent to Aruba were told to come back to the states. They said the divers needed an OK from the police and to point out where they could search. Call it stupid if you like but thats the report. It's not like diving for fun and pleasure. Yes, the Naval Officer didn't come forward for a couple of reasons. First, he wasn't supposed to be at the brothel, and second, he didn't know Amy was a missing person until he came back to the states quite some time after seeing her. How shallow can you possibly be? The fact is, Natalee is of NORMAL weight, and certainly above average in looks and intelligence! And who the hell cares what her weight and looks are? Like that has anything to do with whether we should care about her disappearance or not? So I suppose, if she were 450 pounds and looked like the rear end of a skunk, she would not be worth the effort of a search?!? What the hell is happening in the world? How dumb can people get? Cheyenne...you are so right! And I really do think it's the U.S. that is so shallow and fake. I guess that's what happens in a country whee capitaism rules and the only thing that really matters is what the "celebrities" have and are doing and what kind of car you drive. It's sad. But unless there is a Revolution in our Country with TAX PAYING people getting together and, for lack of a better word, storm the White House, the Senate or any other governmental entity that needs to be told "WE ARE CITIZENS OF THE U.S. OF A. GET THE ILLEGALS OUT OF HERE OR WE GET RID OF THEM OURSELVES".

I must commend the men in Texas that were armed with shotguns patrolling the border. When I heard that some got arrested for shooting illegals, my only thought was "WHERE THE HELL WERE YOUR GUYS WITH THE SHOVELS!!!" I'm sorry. But eventually it will come to just that.

I don't know if any of you heard about the Niguraguan that came to Massachusetts illegally. He lived with his young American girlfriend and her mother. The girl got pregnant. He beat her. The courts sent him back to Niguragua. He CAME BACK ACROSS THE BORDER AND KILLED HER! Not too long ago, a 17 year old illegal female came across the boarder in California. THEY HAD HER and LET HER GO. She came her to Massachusetts. 1. She was here illegally; 2. She was 17; 3. She was driving a car WITHOUT A LICENSE when she hit a police officer that had roadside detail. Then not more than 3 days ago I heard about another Illegal male that was shot trying to cross the boarder.... SHOT!!!! Trying to do what????? Get into the US illegally! And guess what???? He was TREATED FOR THAT GUNSHOT WOUND IN FRAMINGHAM, MASSACHUSETTS! AND AT WHO'S EXPENSE????? MINE!!!!! YOURS IF YOU LIVE IN MASSACHUSETTS.............. WHEN THE HELL IS THIS GOING TO STOP? TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE, THERE IS A GROUP OF ILLEGALS WORKING IN VARIOUS COUNTRY CLUBS AND HEALTH SPAS THAT ARE STEALING CREDIT CARDS FROM LOCKERS AND REPLACING THEM WITH EITHER PAPER OR CARDBOARD ONES SO THE OWNERS DON'T CATCH ON TILL IT'S TOO LATE. I have noticed, throughout my life in several places in this country, immigrants like the Cuban real estate broker, who have come here and been wildly successful. Why? Because, like you said, they did not have that opportunity in their homeland. I bet they think Americans are lazy, and we are! Look at the writings of some of these posts, and tell me we do not have a bunch of illitereates in this country? Most people in other parts of the world speak several languages, but we Americans can not even be bothered to correctly speak or write our own?!?
