that's so sad ryatt. Just cos the girl doesn't think adriana is hot, she must be jealous, there cannot be any other remotely logical conclusion. What evidence did you have to support your statement? Or were you just making it for the sake of it? I personally think adirana is well hot and if I were a guy, I'd do her in a heartbeat. But this is turning into just a guy's site, everytime a girl passes judgment on another girl, she has to be jealous.

Well let me tell it to you, as a female, we are more critical of other females, our expectations are higher and our judgement and sight are not clouded by so much sperm floating around in our bodies, hence when a girl says some girl is unhot, it would most likely mean that she really doesn't think that she's hot.

For example, I personally hate girls who even SLIGHTLY resemble me, there is nothing more annoying and horrifying to me than being told that I look like so and so and then I despise said girl for the rest of eternity. Does that mean I'm jealous of her? I think not. In fact I feel kinda violated.

It's what women do, they pass judgment on other women, all the time. We're great at it. It does not mean we are jealous. We're just naturally critical about each other and we voice our criticisms. It's what we do. We only say it cos we really think it. Why else would we say it?

So next time a girl says "she looks ugly", she really does mean she thinks she looks ugly, compared to her in her own opinion, she's not secretly thinking "Oh I wish I was/was like her" and if she says it with venom, it's because she thinks that she is much hotter than the subjecive woman and thinks she does not deserve the praise that she is getting, not because she wants to be like her. Because if she thought she was hot, she would actually say something like this:

"wow... she's beautiful" and she'd think she wouldn't mind looking like her.

So enough with the jealous crap already. The only reason you don't understand is because males in general do not notice detail. And the only reason males do not get as much criticism from women asother women do is because there's not much to comment about on men. There's not much that can be said about it, it's quite plain and there's not much to criticise about, apart from general things. Also, we may feel a little bad about about criticising males, because they do not generally criticise and judge by nature, whereas with women, you don't feel bad at all, because you know that if she was in front of you, she'd be thinking the similar things about you.

Phred- first you need to realize that we only do anything but for the sake of it, tralala's post, ryatt's comment, your reply, and even my reply now, we do it for nothing more than the sake of saying it, for the sake of speaking, for the sake of contributing. it's the way we belive to be useful and needed, speaking for the sake of being heard, nothing more. words carry only the meaning that we give them, and because we are "individuals" we all take those words in different light. tralala's comment was an opinion, nothing more, ryatt's comment was just the same, you took it as a statement of wanting, one, the other or both wanting to be (look) more like adriana, so what if they do, so what if they don't. their choice to say, do what they like, they have to live with it, as do we all.

the next thing that you need to relize is that when anyone passes judgment on anyone else there is some form of jealousy taking place, be it what they say, do, wear, practice, infer, denote, lead to, or simply for the fact that they can say what they want. as you so say yourself females are more critcal of other females, this is a choice, your choice to do so, you can rip her apart, or rise her up high, but there is another option available to you, you can walk by her. you choose to critque her, people, media, society may tell you that you have to, but you still choose to do so. you criticize because you are evaluating her, compareing her to yourself, figuring out what you have over her, and what she has over you. this is a jealous decision, if it wasn't you would not give her even a first thought let alone a second. if you say that she is ugly, than you belive yourself to be more beautiful than her, maybe not consciously, but that is what your ego is thinking, "In fact I feel kinda violated". when you say that you immediately hate any girl that even "slightly" resembles you, this is a jealous thought, you are angry (manifestation of jealously) that their is anyone else out there like you. but no matter how much someone looks or even acts like you, they cannot be you, they do not have your thoughts, they do not dreams, they do not have nightmares, only YOU do. and if you think any different than that is because you are choosing to do so.

you say that women are naturally critcal of other women, "It's what we do." it's what you belive you must do, that is the only reason why you say it.

males "in general" do not notice as much detail, maybe so, but that's your choice to generalizing the male species, as was mentioned we are individuals, unique unto ourselves, therefore why impose generalities, default settings and standard operating proceedures. if that is all we (men and women) are viewed as than it's not difficult to see why we think the way we think, judge the way we judge, why we treat eachother in the manner that we do. instead try to take everyone for what they truly are, themselves, and maybe you will see past what we want others to see and actually see the person you are looking at, and maybe we can stop judging everyone and everthing that we come in to contact with, and just walk on by. as you can see a have a well defined sense of capturing detail, that and a penis.

oh and JoeMama, you kong donkey, not every free thinking women is a lesbian. stop saying things just because you have lips, a tongue, and a voice box.
